Those unfortunate ladies wearing skirts and dresses

Amen! I always give thanks for rain. We endured several years of drought until last year, so I'm happy to get whatever rain God wants to give us.

Well it was 10 til five pm when it started raining, its is now 6:04p and still sprinkling 75f. We got 7/8 of an inch in 30 minutes. What a rain. Wonderful, cooling, nurturing rain. I like the rain. Thank you Lord.
The angels must have used an excess of water to wet mop their floors, and used a squeegee to dry it.

We've been getting more rain than usual this year. In spite of this ,people are leaving their lawn sprinklers on . I don't get it.

Many places have automatic sprinklers on a timer and schedule that's a real pain to change. The little house my wife and I are moving to has automatic sprinklers that we will have no control over at all. The water for lawns in the entire neighborhood comes from a well. Lawn care is one of the benefits where we bought, a retirement type community.

Hello Brother Dave,

I'm curious and want to ask a question. Do the farmers and those who raise livestock like the weather conditions there? We've gotten a lot of rain here over the last two years, and it rescued many from bankruptcy. We had several years of drought before this time of plenty, and even some of the wells were drying up. There was a time when most of the stock ponds were dry.
