A bit chilly for June - quite refreshing when walking though, but I wish I'd taken my gloves!

Heavy rain that is set in for the day. Yesterday was mild and I took my dogs for a long walk by the river nearby, knowing that today was going to be a day we'd all be inside by the fire.
We (me,dogs and cat) are thankful we are able to do this......but then again it is Winter and I'm getting more wood delivered at the end of the week, so OF COURSE there's
rain .

Days of rain with flooding in some parts of the UK , but not here thankfully. The good news - the plants haven't needing watering and the reservoirs should be full!

After a week of persistent rain, we had a few breaks of sunshine today. I decided to take the opportunity to go supermarket shopping but ended up getting caught in a shower on the way back. We can't win can we!

We have had downpours of rain today, intermittent though heavy. The birds in the garden seem to be quite lively, dashing from one tree to another.

Here in Aus it is Winter, this morning was 0, frosty and foggy. The next three nights -1c. Around 13celscius during the day. I am so thankful for the warmth I have and can't stop thinking of the poor souls that are homeless or can't afford heating.

It still feels like Spring here in the UK. I've had a second family of squabs on my balcony!

That's funny about your birds. I had mourning doves that used to hide under some evergreen shrubs by my porch. The heavy snow caused my shrubs to look dilapidated so the shrubs are gone and so are the birds.

Went out today wearing sunscreen and raincoat and carrying sun glasses and umbrella - a British summer's day! Actually it was cloudy but dry for most of it.

It's nearing midnight here and it's still 77F. The forecast for the days ahead are hot.

Just been looking at my indoor weather station. Currently outside it is 10c and indoors it is 24c. The sun rose this morning at 4.43am and will be setting at 9.38pm. Today is expected to be warm and sunny with peak of 23c.

We are awaiting a heatwave coming from Africa this weekend. Over on the continent, temperatures are expected to peak at 45c. Here in the British Isles, they are expected to climb to at least 30c. It is going to be hot.

I feel so sorry for those on the continent - there have been wild fires as well as the soaring temperatures.

It has been hot here, but is freshening up now in the early hours of Monday morning.

I feel guilty in telling you how nice our weather is now. The temperature averages are in the 70s and low 80s. We haven't hit 100F yet this year. The only thing negative we have is high humidity, but we can stand that easily.

I feel really good about our water situation. We've had so much rain that just about anything that holds water is full and overflowing. We still have some flooding in some places, but things are looking good here in Central Oklahoma.

It's 86F and mainly cloudy today in Central Oklahoma. This is about 10 degrees lower than our usual for this time of year, but we'll take it.

Compared with the weekend, it has been much cooler across the British Isles today. In fact it felt a bit chilly in the breeze that I had to wear a jacket!
