But he did, in the scriptures, and also at Jesus' baptism. And the Jews there were too stupid to point out that the "Father" hadn't said a thing in testimony. Not the best way to convince me.

But it can, you are just looking in the wrong places, because you are looking for phyical evidences to provide you with spiritual truth.Unfortunately, that can't be proven.
I would have no reason to disbelieve you.In what scriptures? How many of those people in front of him were at Jesus's baptism?
If I told you that I was awesome and that G-d also testified to it, would you believe me? If not, why not?
I would have no reason to disbelieve you.
However why would I even care whether you were awesome or not, just as long as you are not interfering with my awesomeness?
No not really! God already testified to me who the true Messiah was.... I don't recall your name ever coming up though???How about if I claimed to be the Messiah? Is that something you'd care about? I'm telling you that G-d testified to it, so that's two witnesses.

Thats all the scriptures and the Prophets did was testify of Jesus. However, I can see how many missed it, because as Christ pointed out, He never came in His name or to do His Will, but the Father's.Likewise, He already testified about who the true Messiah was through the Prophets and nobody has yet met the requirements. Jesus's name certainly never came up.
Again, the Book of Mormon testifies to the truth of the story of Christ, and the Book of Mormon was written by many people.... So it applies
Yes, you can jump in, however your personal opinion as a nonLDS was not germane to the question asked... I also find you statement hypocritical and ironic, seeing as though your "statement of truth" required no corroborating witnesses and yet you want us to believe you???
Again, more unsolicited opinions on your part.... Buy your own soapbox, and get off of mine.
Yes. I believe that much of it was copied verbatim from the Bible, and the rest is a figment of Sidney Rigdon's imagination.Do you believe that the Book of Mormon is made up
Why do you even need the Book of Mormon if you can show me point for point that its doctrine is the same as in the Bible? It would be completely worthless for you to have it then.
If there were no major changes needed to be made to the Bible, why would God waste his time revealing all this to some farmer boy?
Which is just laughable that this is considered a "divine translation" of non-existant texts. Did this "supreme being" really say "white" and "black", or did it say "pure" and "impure"? That some other work "relies" on it is meaningless.
Only JS wrote it--there are no other authors that can be shown to have written anything--produce the golden plates and maybe you have something. The bible has years of ancient writings found, including the dead sea scrolls.
My personal opinion, and that of anyone else is entitled to be heard. Hate to tell you this, but this is not your personal soap box---neither did you pay for it!! I suggest you keep to the topic and get off my tail---not kosher!! The soap box has lots of room.
Wordprint analysis proves you are sadly mistaken. http://nanilaie.info/?p=1035
