Possibly new glasses frames if I need them. I also want to give them my old ones I dont wear whch are too small. My work offered to pay and then they didnt as I quit cos I wasnt going to spend 8 hours 5 days a week at the computer.

They were wire which i hate as well. With those silly nosepads.

The frames I wear all the time are plastic and bigger and you could even get them at $2 shop but if you get prescription the frame alone costs like $250! Im like, this aint fair.

Just give me new eyes Lord.

I recommend zennioptical.com they have super cheap glasses that are very good quality. The cheapest are $6.95 and they have tons of pairs in that price. The average price I've seen is about $12.

It wont turn on despite me pushing the on button.
The screen died or it had some problem i dont know. Just it wont start up. Not much I can do!!

And yes...it is plugged in and the power is on a the wall...nothing wrong with the battery as its charged and the light is green.

I did hold the button down long and it worked once and then didnt when I tried it again. I think it died. Its not just gone to sleep is it? Or maybe in a coma....

The green light is in the cable but the laptop itself is not responding. I cant get into the battery unless I unscrew it. Its a macbook pro.

Well i tried the control option and command keys thing and that didnt work. Sigh.

I dont know where the nearest apple store is, I bought it off someone else.
I may just need to chuck it and buy a new one or make do with the ipad. Ive only had it for about 2 years.

I hope so although the word function never really worked as good as I liked it to, kept asking for updates all the time that took ages. But that was installed before I bought it.

Otherwise it was a really good computer!!!

Note to self, if I do get a new computer and its apple i would have a Word thing that was compatible with apple. Cos i think it was microsoft office. That, and adobe kept crashing all the time and taking ages to load.

Plus a proper slideshow function. Everything else worked a treat though.

Before that macbook I had a compaq notebook and that didnt last.

Birthday gifts to fill this gift bag with little goodies. This friend just collects so much bric a brac that I thought maybe I will give her more to add to her collection. But how do you shop for bric a brac?
