Oh found it, was in my bag and on silent.
D'oh!

Some purses are like a big dark hole and I seriously think it swallows some of the items because they really disappear. lol
Glad you were able to find your phone though, that's quite annoying when it happens.

I just spent a couple grand on rebuilding my deck, expanding it, then building a 6' cedar privacy fence around my yard. That was my big expense for the Summer. I paid off my pickup and some other smaller bills so now I have an extra $1000 or so a month for other things.

Just bought a new pistol yesterday. Next month I'm hoping to get a gun safe and then after that I want to put in new tile in my kitchen and foyer. That's it for major purchases for the next couple of months.

I'm 47, single, and male so I figured I'm at the age where I need to either buy a motorcycle or a Corvette... I did a ton of research about a month ago and decided to buy a motorcycle. My brother and friends are getting into "adventure bikes" in which they buy motorcycles that can go both on and off road, then load them down with camping gear, and ride into the mountains and camp. I decided which one to buy and was ready to go, then decided to wait until next year since I wanted to pay off some more debt and do more repairs around the home.

Plus, I'm planning on taking a trip to Japan next Spring to visit my daughter.

Wow big spender!
But...isnt that a mid life crisis thing to go out and buy a new car or vehicle just because you want to?

Sorry..maybe when I get to that age and have the cash I would start splashing out on things like that. Maybe If my japanese car conks out. I have never heard of NEEDING to buy a corvette or motorcycle.

I should have been more clear in that I was joking about being middle-aged and therefore needing to buy a corvette or a motorcycle.

I've always been a car and motorcycle enthusiast. I sold my last motorcycle just over a year ago and have been wanting to replace it with something for adventure touring.

Oh i see.
Well. Happy camping then.

When I went camping I just took my car and another friend and folded the seats down, we could fit two tents, mattresses, cooking gear, and, if it bucketed down we could have slept in the car instead.

We saw some campervans/caravans for sale at the camping ground and i was seriously considering buying one as a second home, but...i think if you buy one you still have to share a shower and toilet..unless it has modern plumbing.

I suppose the whole point of camping is roughing it though. Maybe its better to buy a luxury hotel and collect the rent. That is if I make the effort to climb the property ladder, but i hate playing monopoly, so why would i want to do that in real life.

Car wash, but now we doing prayer and self denial (baptist word for fasting)
It looks like my car will have to stay dirty, or I clean it myself instead of going to the car wash.

Also those plants will have to wait. Even if they on sale.
And, my other friend bought a block of chocolate for my friends birthday so, I didnt need to. She usually has one, but this time bought her a book instead.

So on my shopping list is NOTHING.

First semester of law school soon :)

New knife after giving many away.

A guitar to get back to playing.

New watch since my one and only got stolen.

Some Bible commentaries.

Sunglasses to take fishing.

I'd list the stuff for my wife and daughters but that's way too long lol they will probably keep me from getting the stuff on my list!
