Well so much for my publishing career. If my macbook isnt fixable i dont think i can afford to just get another one right now.

At least treadle sewing machines dont break down. And they dont require electricity either.
Or knitting needles.

This weeks shopping list is more of a what I need to get over the winter for long term survival.

1 set of Icebreaker 260g Merino wool base layers (top and bottom).

1 Polar King coat.

1 Polar King bib overalls.

1 Marlin 1894 rifle in 357 mag.

3 sets of wool socks.

1 set of 100% wool thermal layer underwear.

M50 gas mask with a case of NBC filters.

1 pallet of Spam.

New 6 man tent.

3 wool blankets.

Extra wide cot from Cabela's.

New outdoor chair.

Am thinking of some outdoor chairs as well for summer and theres plastic ones for the deck but they dont come in red which our deck is painted only sky blue, white, or yellowy green. They are like cape cod chairs but resin plastic.

Wooden cape cod chairs are very heavy and expesnive but i guess you can paint them whatever colour you like.

Nice, it kinda converts to a lounger too.
I have two camp chairs that fold up and they also have cupholders.

Arrgh just tried my macbook again and the screen blanked out. :-(
It made a funny sound and then it wont turn on again.

Sigh.

The silly repair shop wouldnt even say how they got it going again. I asked them and they didnt say anything. If you fix something it should work not just for a few hours and then conk out.

Maybe i just give up on them and stick with this ipad. Im sure you can write a novel on an ipad if you know how.

Who needs word and excel and powerpoint and adobe anyway.

good news I think I fixed the problem but may need help from a mac expert if theres any one here, I adjusted my settings on the power saver apparently it turns itself off after 15 minutes but I never had that actually happen before.
