I've been feeling like I'm letting God down again. I should be doing more. I have the passion for it.
Sometimes, tho, you're right: it is just something they learned, like a bad habit, & they can't break it. But why don't they want to get better, I wonder......
They're told it's not a problem, they're already 'thoughtful & caring' so who cares.....BUT that's not the same as foul language! & they KNOW it's foul language b/c if you call them out on it, they agree it's foul! & more often then not, they're the ones who bring it up, they wonder where your foul language is. It's like 'why did you notice I don't have foul language, there's a lot of other words I haven't used, why did my lack of foul language stand out to you?'
You're right, you're not. Grow up. It's your choice.I guess I'm not a real man.
You know.. us foul mouthed men have feelings too.![]()
They need to prove it w/ their language, work on it at least, otherwise no, they are not thoughtful & caring, they are living a double-life. They are probably just being 'thoughtful & caring' b/c it benefits them. It's an act that makes them feel good about themselves, b/c 'it makes them popular' or 'b/c it's family', it's not genuine. As far as swearing regarding names called to women.. some women just have a masochistic side. Really depends on the man. I know some men who use such language all the time but deep down are thoughtful and caring people.. other men not so much.
