Thank you. So today I went to go make my plasma donation and drop off my glasses at Walmart's vision center to get the lenses updated after my exam two days ago. As I'm leaving the house, I notice my appointment is for a later time than I thought it was, so I decide to stop at Walmart first and then go to the plasma clinic. I stopped at the pizza place across from Walmart for lunch, but just as I am about to place my order, I notice my wallet is nowhere to be found. Obviously, it scared the heck out of me. I frantically re-traced my steps back to the stop where I found it had fortunately fallen from my pocket after I got off the bus and I hadn't left it on there.

So then I went back to the pizza place and placed my order. Knowing that restaurant is rather slow, went across to Walmart so they can take my glasses and put new lenses in. Even that took far longer than I wanted, but at least by the time I finally got out of there, my pizza was ready. I ate it quickly and then returned to the bus stop to head to the plasma clinic. But there are no posted times to know when the next bus goes, so after waiting around for a bit, I decided I would just give up and walk to the clinic. Not two minutes after I started walking, guess what went right past me but the bus.

Eventually though, I did make it to the clinic. But by then, I was so horribly late for the original appointment that they had to book a new time for me, and then required more waiting around. Eventually, I made it in. But even after all that, my body did not cooperate and I wasn't able to do the full 896 ml. donation, which means I now can't go back there for another two months. That's certainly not unheard for me, but after going through everything else I did today, it was the last thing I wanted to have happen.

Poor guy! A frustrating day, indeed.

I'm at a complete crossroads.

After typing for what feels like an hour in order to sort my own thoughts, I'm simply going to cast my worries to God and ask him for the wisdom and clarity on this.

Any prayers would be greatly appreciated! Any advice on chapters of the Bible anyone thinks I should focus on would also be greatly appreciated! And that's what's on my mind!

Was at a sporting event tonight. Absolute foul language. Really bad. Non-stop. Degrading to everyone. Degrading to women (& yet these are the kinds of men a lot of women seem attracted to). I notice it every time this really foul language.
For those older: has language always been so foul? So persistent?

I saw this yesterday, and I wanted to give you words of encouragement, but I didn't know the right thing to say. But I re-read it again just now looking for the right words and The Armor of God came to my mind, so I wanted to post this for you.

Still, more seriously, you seem quite earnest about this, so maybe it really would be beneficial if there was a guy out there who'd be willing to answer the hardball questions you have as best as he could.

I'd like to say if i can to those who are concerned for their animals when we are taken up that may be it's not impossible to think that they may be taken up too? God loves the animals and realizes that they would possibly parish without their owners so why not?

Still, more seriously, you seem quite earnest about this, so maybe it really would be beneficial if there was a guy out there who'd be willing to answer the hardball questions you have as best as he could.

Saucy volunteered, bless his heart. My question remains semi-answered, as most of the male friends I have who I'd feel comfortable talking to, aren't the sorts of men that this question really pertains to, so... onward we go! Some things may just remain a mystery

Yup. It's always dependent on location, demographics, culture, etc. But, yup.

Women aren't attracted to being called foul names by men. If there's something attracting some women to those men, it's something else.

I think I understand what you're saying Geek, but there's a lot of dumb (& willfully dumb) people out there. I hate to say it, but it's true. Rebellious. I am not talking about Christian women, those who delight in wanting to do what is right. That being said, & this is probably what you're trying to say, the men are most likely able to hide it, they come in sheep's clothing. But it will come out eventually & their actions will match their language & they will hurt these women. They always do.

As far as swearing regarding names called to women.. some women just have a masochistic side. Really depends on the man. I know some men who use such language all the time but deep down are thoughtful and caring people.. other men not so much.

Might disturb some.. but humans are complex creatures.
