Fun fact: the Hebrew word for "king" is actually embedded in his initials. Martin Luther King -> MLK -> melek -> "king." I wish I could take credit for that.

Today I lose a dog 'relative.'. I know many believers don’t think pets go to heaven (my friend doesn’t, for example), but I think there may be room for some in God’s power. Jesus may not have come to save their souls, but in saving ours, it’s possible. Of course, we also know he created them & cares for their needs while they are here on Earth. I pray her owner is okay, that his time of grieving isn’t permanent & he can find peace & joy at it’s end.



I remember when I lost my dog growing up. I can’t believe so much time has gone by. He is my favorite. I love him very much even after 14 years. ;(

Well he was actually more of a figurehead than anything (and judging by all the reports of sexual immorality against him an easy to blackmail/manipulate figurehead at that). But if American society wasn’t so paganized, antichrist, and heavily tainted by the institution of false manmade denominational religion, there wouldn’t have ever been any need for any ‘civil rights’ movement to begin with. It’s almost as if people would repent, be reborn, and apply God’s word (there is neither Jew nor Greek ye are all one in Christ Galatians 3:28) things would be for the best. All the answers to society’s problems are in the scriptures but people make the mistake of turning to a pagan government or manmade corporate religion for the answers.

Christians should just be careful about whom they lift up is all I mean.

Listening to Mom's old Twila Paris albums she listened to when I was young, and some of those lyrics hit so hard. I've never known anyone so completely conformed to the image and likeness of the Lord Jesus Christ and I can't help but wonder if some of these songs encouraged her on a deeper level in her last years of suffering.
