I'm reading this right now! I loved Jesus and the Jewish Roots of the Eucharist by the same author!

And I'm currently that one, ha, ha. Pitre really does such a great job. The book he co-wrote with John Bergsma, A Catholic Introduction to the Bible - Old Testament is excellent, too.

Last week (on the 19th), I got in a major car accident.

All my bags deployed and I could have died. I am injured and have been out of work for almost two weeks.

I had the right of way (had a green arrow), and a woman was going full speed and slammed into me.

I have lots of bruising. On my face, neck, chest, stomach, and legs.

Today, I rejoice to my God that I’m alive and that EVERYTHING works together for MY good. He is faithful and he is worthy of my praise, still!

Your life is worth something. Jesus will take you home when it’s time to take you home.

I have lots of bruising and mentally processing totaling my car, but just more thankful I’m not dead.

So, due to the injuries obtained from the car accident, I lost my job.

This season is just terrible but there's been hope in it. And I am remaining trusting in God.

Had four job interviews this week. My last one is tomorrow. And I've applied to 30 :x
