Hmm, should I start a YouTube channel?
Can't hurt to try. ^-^

While there's an audience for everything, presentation is a major obstacle, whether popular or niche. It makes me think of a Family Guy episode where Brian Griffin starts a radio show originally for intellectual discussions, but devolves into a Howard Stern-like show. If one is serious about making a God-pleasing channel, it's very important not to appeal to the lowest common denominator (Eph. 4:17-32, 5:1-20, Gal. 5:19-26, Luke 16:1-15, Phil. 4:8-9).

What does 'turn the other cheek' mean. Is Jesus describing a perfect world, maybe? Does it just mean be slow to defense?

People always talk about how hard the OT law is to obey but the NT law is much harder.
'Turn the other cheek.'
'If your hand causes you to sin, cut it off.'
Etc.

How hard is it to love your neighbor as yourself or love your enemy!
NT Law is much harder.

It reminds me of a happy fox. ^-^

Speaking of happy foxes,

I hope Miss Somber is doing okay. And that she'll be comfortable with coming back as an active member again soon. She sounded last time as though some personal disappointments lately has made her feel compelled to be a bit more scarce around here, perhaps. :(

(If you didn't know, angelsroundme - awesome avatar name, by the way, if I did not mention it before - people here often posted pictures of foxes to refer to Somber. ^-^ )

The Somber foxes do sound familiar. I hope we see here again soon too. And thanks for the compliment on my avatar and name. I like seeing your avatar and the companion in your signature. ^-^

You know what, @Saucy , COVID-19 has been a pain. I know a dog returns to its own vomit (Prov. 26:11), but if yet another lock down is announced, I'm going down to KFC to eat every flippin' chicken there. Afterwards, I become The Mountain That Rides. I'm going to find that poor, unfortunate donkey and tell it, "Giddy up, Sam!"

Pray that becomes the closest thing to falling into Balaam's error as I'll ever get! :p

On my last read-thru of Lord of the Rings (second read-thru), I skipped the Scouring of the Shire chapter. It doesn't really fit except provide closure to Saruman's arc (which is important of course). & this is coming from someone who likes every other part of the book, including Tom Bombadil & 'just walking thru scenery' & understands why Tolkien included it.
