So a friend and brother in Christ that I made a connection with at a 30th reunion last Summer has cancer and I have been supporting him. Tonight I had asked him about getting a pedicure or nails done, and he has two young adult daughters. Because of that conversation he has decided to book an appointment for both his daughters. He liked the idea and I think he's going to go with some naval academy colors. Since that's part of his background and he's also working for University with those colors. His time with his daughter's is so precious, as I don't know how much more of a life he might have if things keep getting worse.

That's so thoughtful of you to ask. I've been on an up and down emotional roller coaster. 16 hours of work on Thursday, 6 hours of sleep and then working Friday.. I'm hanging in there. It's not as bad as the week before though.

Really... anything above 40 hours and I'm done. Especially when my commute is about 2 hours a day (both ways).

Oh wow! That is a long drive!! I currently am in an area where driving to some of the nearest cities is almost an hour away, so I really feel you there. I can't imagine working overtime and travelling that far every day!

Yeah, it's tiring sometimes... usually only have a few hours of free time a day... planning to move closer soon.

Been listening to the radio a lot too.. and drives me crazy how they play the same selection of songs.. over and over.. and over.. depite switching to multiple radio stations.. they play the same songs.. sometimes at the same time.. lol.

I can relate! I have a hard time with the radio sometimes so usually I plug in my Bluetooth adapter and play music from my phone instead.
