I feel like YouTube doesn't have as many videos as they used to. I have a theory they deleted a lot.

I feel like YouTube doesn't have as many videos as they used to. I have a theory they deleted a lot.

Some videos get buried under the curated, preferred videos Youtube wants you to see on certain subjects. They are there but tough to find. I think also the pandemic has exhausted a lot of Youtubers so they don't put up videos as often and some stopped entirely.

For example when I search something in YouTube, I get like 5 relevant results back. The rest of the results have nothing to do w/ the topic. But I know there used to be more relevant videos. It's like they completely changed their Search formula. Even if you search by Relevance. Something big changed @ YouTube. I noticed Google is the same, maybe even worse. It doesn't even have to be a political or religious topic.

I think there was a change about a year or two ago. I still got a lot of results, but I have to dig through them for what I want. Some of what appears is random and that can be annoying lol. Google probably did something similar.
