40 seconds after I posted this, a lady on a scooter came in to look at "fit over sunglasses" that you wear around your regular glasses. She was so stoned, she crashed her scooter into the desk on the way in, could not figure how to put the fit-overs over her glasses, finally got them on, and goes: "wow, why has everything gone dark all of a sudden?"

Then crashed her scooter on the way out for good measure....

Oh wow!! You really do see some crazy stuff!!!

I started my books. They are depressing. You're supposed to like everything God's doing in your life, but he doesn't want me to date, I'm not allowed, so I find that very challenging. When I read the books it's like you're not even supposed to want to date.

I am sad.

I'm just tired of it & everything. If you have too many things wrong w/ you, you can't date. I try so hard to fix myself & have come a long ways but it's just like running in circles.

DragonFox, why do you say that you aren't allowed? Has God seriously given you any reason - other than opportunities just not coming your way easily - to believe that He straight up is not allowing you the romantic company of the opposite gender?

I must ask, have you seriously ever even tried to ask a girl you've taken any interest in out on a date at all, all these years? Have you even attempted? Even a "choir boy" (as labelled by two people in my past and present work environment) introvert like me has actually asked a lady out a few times before in life, so if you haven't yet, I see no reason why that is so for you.

Not really. I can never get that far. Back when I could actually meet singles, if they'd talk to me they'd then move on to other guys. I think it's likely it'd be like that even if I was still able to meet singles

I am sorry that this has left you with many sad days ever since you've joined us in this community, but still, that does not automatically mean that God Himself forbids you from women. You simply just don't have as easy a time with it as some other humans might (myself definitely not being one of them, so yes, I can empathize). But again, that doesn't mean God is not allowing it at all.

... But, no, either way, just thought you of all people might like to know what is easily my favorite (tied only with the ending credits song to the Air TV series) song in all of anime =>

I remember in the past there was a guy who I tried showing interest in, but I always felt like he shut me out and shut me down because he was so focused on being forever alone, like he just assumed all girls didn't like him so I never was able to keep conversations going, always felt like he emotionally shut me out before i could even say much. He didn't understand why girls weren't talking to him, but I have a feeling they may have tried but were shut out before they could try, and I don't think he realized it. I think being open and welcoming and looking forward to creating a beautiful relationship that you desire creates opportunity and welcoming of someone new to come into your life. To me your daily life and habits are like your home and you have to make it welcoming to what you want to come in. I don't think it hurts to daydream and talk about what you hope for someday, as if it will happen, and also think about who you want to be for someone else. I think it helps create a shift in how one views life and such and also helps one know what steps they may need to take to help make their dreams come to fruition. Just my thoughts though.

I think this happens a lot more than we think. We get stuck in a mood and we lose out on great things. It happened to me in high school.
