  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

She chose to leave at the worst possible time, so she basically followed the snowstorm most of the way here and then she took a wrong road, so she stopped at a random farm house and says the people are nice and she might spend the night there because the roads are so bad now, lol. AHHHHhhhhh so now I am so anxious about everything and my brothers are making fun of me that I worry too much. I think I'm just going to take a break and try to relax now. :dead:

Aww, haha! Moms!! Gotta love em!! ^_^ :hug: Sometimes my mom can be that way although this time she seems pretty set on not driving until the morning and seems relieved, so I guess I'm glad about that, but I still worry. :ahem:haha!! I had called her earlier today while she was on her way and I told her if the roads get bad that she should stop at my sister's place which is right along the way, but she didn't want to. haha
