  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

glad to see that I'm not alone. I haven't selected a playlist. I did want a Pokemon at one time but I think it would be too expensive. I have been trying to think of budget friendly ideas though. I kind of want to do the same as my biological father with my stepmother. But not everything. They got married on the beach at sunrise with no shoes. My stepmom sewed her own dress of cotton. It was very small with just family. The reception was at a place that they worked at, but kids couldn't go. I was 13 years old. And their honeymoon was camping. I like everything they did except I would have to have a different kind of reception.

It also depends on who I would marry as far as if it would have to be in a church. Also they may not be in nature person, so I would consider all those things. I just like to have a plan money-wise ahead of time. How about yourself? Has your theme and everything pretty much remain the same over the years?

Now that you're talking about budgeting I realise that I've never thought about that aspect at all. I mean, I didn't think about it yet.

A beach wedding sounds fun, the camping honeymoon is original.

For me, the desire for marriage only came last year. I think I'm gonna stick with the ideas I have right now (entrance song, first dance, my hairstyle, the nails, the dress, the theme)

And I agree that it's good to think ahead but we still need to consider the groom's choice & preferences too.

Please keep me in your prayers. I've been feeling down like I usually do around this time of year. I'm really nervous about the coming warmer months and unsure how I'm going to get through them. The cooler months have gone by so fast as always. :cry:
