Just wondering after getting out of Raising Canes' drive thru .... whatever happened to their mascot? Didn't he used to be a Golden Retriever with shades on or something? Or was that just a thing in Louisiana only?

Still haven't decided what tool I want to use to make digital music in the future. Everything seems either too pricey or doesn't have many features. :/ Online Sequencer is okay, but it doesn't have a lot of options and makes my songs sound distorted at times...

Making my recent remixes using MIDI files has taught me that I actually don't know much about making digital music. There's a lot to learn!

It's going to sound incredibly superficial on my part because I've barely spoken to her, but you're right. That's the kind of smile that stops even the most dogged and stubborn among us in their tracks.

Utterly devastating lol. I'm struck by those eyes and annoyed at myself for gushing like a simp.

Being infatuated is all well and good, and exciting until you find out she has a boyfriend/husband/fiance/is gay-- or worse-- that she's just not interested in you-- or worse-- being in limbo, trying to guess how she feels, but still holding onto hope that maybe just maybe she likes you too-- or worse-- entering into a relationship, only to get mistreated/ lied to/abused/cheated on/dumped, etc.

There are far worse things than being single. It sounds like a line but it's true.

As for how to be content? Do the things you enjoy, don't dwell on the negative thoughts, think positively, focus on you, improve yourself, take on a new hobby, learn a new skill, learn to be comfortable in your own skin, don't sweat the small stuff. Give thanks for what you have rather than grumble about what you want.

@DragonFox91 some good advice above. But more importantly contentment can be a fruit of the Holy spirit, spending time in the word and filling your mind with scripture does help. I have found great peace when I have been doing my Daniel fast I'm basically cutting out most of the outside things like the media. That includes social media, news, TV, radio and internet. Taking a bit of a cabin retreat time to have a little bit of a reset. That's at least for me one way I've been able to cultivate contentment over time. We are all different, so just pray and ask the holy spirit to guide you. I guarantee you, answers will come. You just have to listen.

I would be more than willing to spend a good amount of money on something like that, as I am standing and walking on my job for most of the twelve hours. But alas, until they make steel-toe versions of this type of footwear, I will not be up to code if I use them for work. Steel toe is a required feature for safety reasons.

Well, good to see that you are powering your way through your illness via attempted humor.

Laughter can be good medicine for sure!

Had the strangest dream. It sort of was like watching a movie and there were these runners, I think high school-ish.

The dream transition to me gradually waking up with the sun rising through the Windows and what looked like a farmhouse. A little dog woke me up ( I have no dog). As I went to get ready and I had put on some kind of dress that was an all cotton white. I looked in the mirror and was astonished to see this young girl 18 or so. Same eyes, but plumper lips and my hair was Fuller and kinked and went to mid length of my back.

I noticed it since I was trying to put my hair up. The dress itself was cinched at the wrist and a little bit of the waist, sort of looking like a nightgown but it was a dress. It was embroidered. This is the best picture I could find, but the chest area was a flat front and the arms a little bit poofy. It would be amazing to look like that girl woman that I saw in the mirror in my dream.

Oh! Sounds like an interesting dream! Dreams always fascinate me so much! I used to keep a dream journal, although haven't kept up with it lately!

Praying that you will get the rest that you need, and ultimate healing in your sleep. If it's in the later stages, I pray that you will find some remedies to help soothe you and heal quickly.

Those both look so nice and comfortable!!! I used to think I wouldn't like them but I finally caved in and got myself a pair of crocs this past year and I really like them so much...I even got a bunch of cute charms for them!

Oh that's not fun! When I did construction work that was a requirement also and steel-toe aren't the most comfortable for long hours!!
