Being quieter doesn't mean not charming

Of course not. I was noting the similarities between child and parent. They were quiet and had children with the same disposition. Almost to the letter. Maybe we’re an impressionable lot.

Pocket watches are classy. You can build a collection. If you choose a ring make it personal. The family crest, personal insignia, etc. Something that speaks to you and evokes a sense of pride. I’m not denouncing commercial pieces. Personal items are meaningful and become heirlooms.

Grilling's easy. I do that. Definitely need a winter sport. I ice skate, if that counts. Not often enough tho, unfortunately. Yes, winter sports are definitely needed, especially if I want to stay in the mid-west. I hate 'what winter sports do you do' & I used to be like 'uhhhhhhh.' Dang, winter's like over at this point.

Take up skiing. It immediately enhances your travel options. You can hit the slopes around the world. That’s another talking point. Ski resorts have spas and they’re family friendly.

Well I don't know about oozing charm, but I've been told that I can be a fun person to be around. I've always enjoyed going out and trying new things... Kind of makes it difficult with covid going on, but I manage to find a way. It also helps when I can drag people along to share in the fun with; especially those who are more adventurous!

I’m not surprised. You have a pleasant disposition and seem laid back. Curiosity always adds interest. Your thirst for knowledge and reflection keep you in the know. That improves relatability and open mindedness. If you’re influential you’re charming!

I've never heard of a beauty coach, though. What kind of things does she help coach with? I'm intrigued.

Beauty coach is a catch-all for professionals who enhance your appearance, confidence, and deportment. From an etiquette coach to finishing school. The instruction depends on their specialty and clientele. Some prepare you for leadership, diplomacy, social graces, etc.

I wasn’t a fan until he started making gospel music. Some of the songs are from earlier albums. Jesus Walks is on The College Dropout. The first one he released. He admits he was supposed to do this a long time ago.

He brings a fresh sound to Christian music. I hear familiar themes, beats, and chords. He’s local and infuses his roots in the music. You won’t hear sampling and house tunes elsewhere. He’s gifted.

I think a lot of his music was pretty raunchy. So it seems hypocritical to me. I get we all have our own sins, including me, but IDK, if he learned the 'bad' side of him shouldn't be his main image, good for him, need more people celebs like that. Hopefully that's what it is.

IDK enough about him, tho. That's just what I think - "a typically raunchy singer released some Christian music." At minimum, must mean God's working in him in some way & that's always a good thing.

Musicians don’t have the autonomy most assume. Prince’s public struggle with Warner Brothers should have enlightened them. He needed to use a symbol for a reason. They owned his name. The contracts are more involved than many realize. He said don’t sign for a reason.

Once you get in bed with them that’s it. The only way out is death. Your material and schedule are their domain. Younger artists are revealing the truth. Life isn’t so glamorous. They don’t own the cars, jewelry, or homes. The company does and they’re given access.

Many pursued a dream. They had a talent and wanted to go far. They didn’t realize the price. Others were childhood stars whose parents sold them out. Some were born into that world as children of celebrities or well-known people. They never had a chance.

Kanye grew up in the church and in a good home. His battle will be graver. I pray he survives it. His music can reach the downtrodden in ways pretty songs can’t. I haven’t listened to mainstream Christian artists since that time. Primarily because he’s reaching back and breathing life in old songs whose message was anointed. The kind that broke yokes when you heard it and sang along. I used to sing them as a child.

Actually, appears it's more about just a class learning about the church, service opportunities, etc. We all know what the real goal is, tho. If they're not pushing membership, I'd be interested. I like the church, it feels like a good fit, people legit, good teachings, but I'm familiar w/ 'honeymoon phases' & what seems good at first, may end up not being quick, so don't want to think about making formal membership moves yet.

If they're not pushing membership, I'd be interested. I like the church, it feels like a good fit, people legit, good teachings, but I'm familiar w/ 'honeymoon phases' & what seems good at first, may end up not being quick, so don't want to think about making formal membership moves yet.

True. The last church I attended had a public scandal and booted the pastor. I left before it happened but that was the turning point. I needed something different. I didn’t know what it was at the time. I’m glad I missed the Trump years. Watching the political fallout here is bad enough.

True. The last church I attended had a public scandal and booted the pastor. I left before it happened but that was the turning point. I needed something different. I didn’t know what it was at the time.

Strange. I find it pretty easy to tell what churches think on that kind of stuff. It slips into conversation quickly & subtly enough just talking to others in attendance.

No it's to Georgia for family. Usually we'd hit Florida primarily but don't think so this year. I just rec'd confirmation it's official, so need to look at plane tickets.

Possibilities:
Aquarium
I guess they have a Renaissance Fair or medieval themed restaurant or amusement park or something?
a baseball game (not sure of attendance restrictions tho)
Renting a boat
Renting a cottage
There's a cool museum
Board & card games
TV & movies
Pool depending on weather
I think they have a really big Ferris wheel downtown now too
Bike rides

Usually I'm just in Atlanta for a day. In the past I've missed out on vacations that are strictly Atlanta, but that's what they usually do on Atlanta-only based vacations

I hope we do a lot of those fun stuff & go out a lot. I don't like going on vacations & just sitting around the house. I like seeing things & doing things on vacations.

Just ordered several sets of Turkish bath towels. White has been out of stock for weeks. Hopefully, I can get in gear with this project. The glass cabinets haven’t come in and I hope they’ll be in this month.

The liquid vitamin was pretty tasty. Similar to pureed strawberries in texture. Maybe it will help with the sluggishness.

I found an interesting gadget on Amazon. The electric scalp massager looked promising. I tried it today and it felt wonderful! It comes with a charger and extra massaging bits. I recommend it for migraine and headache sufferers or those looking for some TLC.
