We just received 2 grocery trucks...that’s a lot of food.
Wow, that’s a lot! All perishable or a mixture?

We’ve been stocking perishables most of the day, we get dry grocery off the grocery trucks.
People really need meat and dairy, plus the grocery trucks showed up a little bit ago. Convenient timing. God is good. That’s nice. I’m glad they’re looking after you. God is good.
DFW is a nice place, as are many of the other big cities. However, there’s a few small towns that are worth visiting as well. If you find yourself driving from DFW to Austin, San Antonio, etc., the back way is pretty nice, as you drive through a bunch of small towns. Marble Falls is an exception, but it’s beautiful.
I’d recommend Glen Rose. They’ve got a lovely place called big rocks (characterized by a good amount of large rocks to climb on, along with a river), some old timey shops (including a soda shop), and the nearby wildlife park. I lived there for a few Summers and a couple of full years working at a Baptist camp. It’s a great little town.Yeah, I've really got to explore Texas more. I found the locals very personable and they weren't in the slightest bit nosy. (Which I can't stand about some of the other states; some of those people just can NOT keep to themselves.)
AND, in Texas you can pick up cigars easily. I visit New York a lot, and they're all into this vaping stuff. You can't find a decent smoke out there to save your life - and even if you do, it's been lying around a cabinet so long it's either plugged, split, or so dry that it gives you tongue bite.
In Texas, they practically measure the humidity gauge with a micrometer. And it shows in the freshness and the quality of the cigar.
God is good.
And He gives good girls and boys wine and scotch! I wanted to say that on your thread but a few may cry foul.
Are you back in business power wise?
Yes Ma'am. I've already forgotten how miserable I was, haha.![]()
Ma’am is so delectable. Charmer! You have good eats if I recall.![]()
I'm still grilling.Just finished a steak, potato, and succotash. I figured, if I'm going to do all this grilling, might as well throw a nice ribeye on the fire.
