I just saw a video of the inspiration for his voice. He sounds like the Cajun chef that used to come on PBS; Justin Wilson. But apparently, the voice was based on an insulting phone call the creator received from a man.

The more integrated I become within the art world, the more aware I am of how stark raving MAD everyone is. One guy I know placed a canvas upon an easel, dabbed a pallet knife in some acrylic paint and slashed it a few times across the canvas before dabbing a paint loaded sponge across the slashes. He called it "Series 5 Number 17 - The Fervency of The Affair" - and put £1,600 on it.

AND it sold.

Insanity. I'm starting to wonder JUST what I'm walking into. I know they say art is subjective but that's abusing the free rein just ever so slightly.

A friend and I were talking about starting our own transpo company, driving people to and back from dialysis treatments. Something inside me told me to go and check with one of the clinics in the area today, however, and they told me that they currently were not allowing business cards and flyers to be placed out due to covid. So we might have come up against a closed door for now since advertising at the clinics themselves would be our main way to get the word out. But we'll see. Giving up is not an option.
