Okay, not a Sims guy, but ... what the heck is wrong with you two?

I mistakenly set the life span to epic. You can’t change it and the kid wouldn’t grow up. He would be a baby for 60 days!

Especially with my crush; she's pretty relentless with teasing me, but, of course I can only heap praise and flattery upon her in return.

I think a few people could learn a lesson or two from you! 24 hours of praise would make my heart flutter. *lol

Of course, the heaping of praise and flattery was a bit of an overstatement on my part. Overall I do try to act normal and friendly around her, because in our situation it really would just make things awkward if I spoke some word of praise for her beauty, cuteness, or spirit to her every time we talked. I mean, however well-meaning on my part, that must start to feel intrusive after a while, considering she just does not reciprocate. I have to be mindful of that. Besides, for all I know, she may have found someone else these last few months. Such a cute girl can never go unescorted for too long, right?

Just as an aside, this whole time I've been on CF the last hour or so reading through the news and politics sections (veeeeery careful not to actually post my current thoughts, there, as of late) and coming back to this thread to see Bella's and MehGuy's replies, I was casually scrolling through a YT playlist of the entire soundtrack from Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. ... Good game, by the way. Just thought I'd mention it.

Speaking of snot-nosed brats, incidentally I was thinking the same thing about Ramona Quimby as I was reading the first of her books aloud for my YouTube channel a few hours ago. Since this was the first of her series - in the same universe as Henry Huggins, all written by the revered children's author Beverly Cleary (the woman has made it to ONE HUNDRED AND TWO this year!) - Ramona is till, like, just four years old, so naturally instead of being mischievous in that cute way that makes adults go "oh, she's just a spunky person, is all", she just gets on everyone's nerves with her toddler's logic and crazy tantrums. O_O

It must have been that long since I read these books by Beverly Cleary, because, man, I was taken aback as I read this one aloud, and was thinking the same thing you were about sending a kid like that to military school.

She may be hesitant about dating on the job. Many are. But that doesn’t mean she isn’t attracted to you or interested. It sounds like she keeps her cards close. I like that.
