I'm not sure. He briefly came out from under the fridge yesterday morning, looked around for a moment, and then went back under. Oddly enough, as I write this, a similar lizard outside on my deck. It's possible that he followed me out when I had lunch.

Ah, that makes sense! Well, hopefully it is all solved now!

Thanks lol, but I'm doing fine now. Yes Covid, financial setbacks...the devil likes to try to throw a lot at us all at once at times, but God allows it to buffet us. He promises that all things work together for our benefit, and we can definitely find solace in that. He loves us beyond what we can possibly imagine.

Yeah, there is a such a peace and sacredness to being outdoors. Withdrawing from the world and everything man-made, and retreating to the simplicity of nature is refreshing on a spiritual level.

Exactly. I'll have to post some pictures from my hiking trip from a few months ago. You'll probably appreciate it!

I had a VERY vivid dream last night - that someone who I don't like very much, was with me in a this gargantuan strawberry field playing the Strawberry Fields Forever melodies on the mellotron, and about a hundred times better than The Beatles did - the sound was so wonderful it was actually tear inducing.

It was so weird, the sky was the colour of a Zap ice lolly and the strawberries in the field were twice the size of normal ones.

Soon. The chosen time is very soon. ^-^ Unless God has in His own wisdom intervened and deterred me from pursuing this course completely or waiting for another time.

Before that chosen day in about two weeks, however, I am thankfully able to - when I normally wouldn't considering how our normal work schedules go - spend two night shifts this weekend working with her, so I hope we get along well and perhaps begins to drop the hint to her that I at least find being around her very agreeable, so that the crush confession later won't be a complete surprise (... and hopefully not an unpleasant one in her eyes, even if she turns me down ^-^ )

That reminds me. One time a long while back a fellow lady CF member told me about a dream she'd had where I was, well, SK as I present myself here in appearance, wearing more the getup for a knight that you see in this picture below, instead of that tacky Medieval head-to-toe armor nonsense :

... and I was in this dark forest where I had to fight two powerful and overbearing evil knights in all the dark, black, evil-looking power armor and everything (they presumably had just two glowing red eyes staring out from pure darkness beneath the upturned visor), and so of course I had no chance. I don't know who issued the challenge in the fight, there. So instead, I found a way to turn them against each other and just ran off, letting the heavy-handed cliche of Evil turning in upon itself do the dangerous work for me.


A true knight uses cunning to fight his battles, not a barbarian's untempered bloody sword.

Into the 70's for us, which on British money is 22/23°C.

All to do with latitude, and isobars and all that jazz. Personally, I'd be happier where you are. My ideal temperature is 2°C to -2°C. Anywhere within that 0°C neighbourhood basically. That's bang on for me.

I don't hate it, but it's just rather bizarre for May. Usually here in May is 70s, 80s even. Warm weather brings out the bugs so no thanks.

I enjoy 60F weather, but once it gets up into the 70s that just gets too hot for me.
