Alright. :)

~Bella

Yeah some of my family members are getting together. We're all waiting on that call.

I don't know.. going through a lot of mood swings right now. Sadness, numbness and anger. Apparently my father was pretty angry this morning.

Are you certain you don’t want to go to him? Are you far away?

~Bella

Wondering if I should go today or tomorrow. Waiting to get the latest news. For some reason they're not saying much right now. I don't know if they'll even let me see him right now.

Finally got around to watching the new Star Wars trilogy, and about halfway through Episode VII right now. ... It's okay, and it's nice to see Harrison Ford again (I think he's still got it) but, ... I see that storm troopers still suck at shooting a gun and die in one shot despite their armor no matter where they are hit, just as always.

What did the empire fashion their armor out of, tin foil? Cheapskates.

I found some comfort from the entirety of scriptures this morning. God's promise to me is so staggering. And what He showed me, is that while I've been doing what He's telling me to do, it's still been in unbelief. And this is really is no surprise to me. Every time it comes up, I can feel every part inside me scream, "This is not true! It's not going to come to pass."

Then I was reminded. The disciples didn't believe either. Shoot, they weren't even converted until later on either. According to Romans, one must believe that He rose from the dead to be saved. Faith is really a gift. And I can't muster it or generate it within myself. This goes for salvation or any other promise given to us. So I'm taking relief today that in His own time He will produce that mustard seed of faith and what He's been saying will come to pass.

How are you doing? Did you hear back from the doctor?

~Bella

Not good. They have to operate on him tomorrow.

Starting to just feel numb to all the news. Maybe making peace with things.

Went to El Dorado tonight for a spontaneous theatre experience, and viewed 1917, which is a
World War I story that I think was made late last year. It was satisfactory, even seeing alone with few other goers who I did not know in the room with me. Fairly dramatic, well-acted, and good cinematography, and being a war film that thankfully is not about being John Rambo brandishing a mini gun and killing everything in sight, and glorifying the horrors of fighting and killing, but rather about a brave excursion across many miles of potentially hostile territory to save a British battalion from walking into a trap that would surely see all 1600 men slaughtered, I was impressed and found myself caring quite much about the two main protagonists and seeing them succeed. There was actually hardly any fighting or bloodshed, and the British folk you see throughout the movie - both major and minor characters - actually sounded like real human beings who even in the constant danger and horror managed to keep the swearing to a relative minimum, rather than talking like the despicable hillbillies in a Rob Zombie movie would. So, points for that, too.

Apparently this was based partly on a real story about the war that director Sam Mendes' grandfather had relayed to Mendes when he was a child, as I assume Mendes' grandfather had been a soldier himself at the time. So, that was a nice touch. Overall, I recommend 1917.

Well the operation was successful, pretty grateful for that.

Just want the chance to talk to him again. He's been unconscious for a few days now. Purposely to help heal him, but it almost feels like he's already gone.

Lucky! She's my FAVORITE! Have you heard her solo stuff?

Of course! Warrior is my favorite! My uncle tried to get a photo of when I was with her but someone distracted him but here's my mom with her... She was explaining to Jen how the year before that their pyrotechnics scared her because how close we were to the stage.
