Just got back from a week-long vacation yesterday. Was supposed to stay for 3 whole days, but ended up staying an extra 2. It was a relaxing, refreshing and much-needed vacation.
The hotel staff were incredibly warm, friendly and outgoing. The manager and staff even signed a card for me for my birthday, which was unexpected and quite thoughtful. Many of the other guests were very friendly as well. I don't see that too often where I live.
The scenery there was beautiful, if not stunning at times. I also got to check out a couple new places, and try some unique, delicious seafood I wouldn't normally try.
After the year I had, it was nice to get away for a while. Nothing like a vacation for a change in perspective.

How deep is it to have to clean up your friends poo poo that is everywhere? It happened multiple times. they didn't mean to but it happened.
