Took my first spill on BB about 20 minutes ago. Left elbow and forearm...right inner thigh and shin. Ha ha ha...got a good laugh out of it...praise Yah, nothing major! Lol the lady that I avoided smacking into just slowly rolled by when I was on the road...looking down on me like what in God's green earth...tsk tsk tsk...I threw my hands up at her...in culpability and said "You were suppossed to just keep going!" I have posted about this in another thread ("What Bugs You?"); many drivers do not understand that bicyclists have already seen them, accounted for them, and decided on a course of action. Adjustments will be made...gotta get a new back rim though.

Owwww...I'm feeling the fall now...bruising and soreness. I also noticed that a piece broke off of my rear derailer. Other than that, all is well!

... Well, I mean, I know the last thing you said was literally "all is well", but still, just wanted to be sure that feeling has stuck around and there no new unpleasant surprises, health-related or anything after an accident like that.

Thank you for your concern brother! I feel it even more this morning... a lot of little injuries, but nothing is broken (I have full mobility)...just a little banged up. Yah bless your day!

Nice. What are your thoughts on ebikes? I've never tried one, but they look interesting.

Also, how do you post attachments? I can upload photos to CF, but they turn into dead links when I try to embed them.

I love ebikes...I envision a fleet of them zipping about doing good works and delivering the message! I take pictures with my phone and then email them to my chromebook and then I download them and "upload a file".

BB is in the shop...would you believe that I had my first collision today! Now I'm really banged up, but still no breaks...so they say...not sure I believe em. I left the bike over night for a full evaluation. I waited for the CHP all day and then I waited some more at the hospital....when it rains it pours huh.


*Still no head injuries...guess I'm a good faller!

Hmmmm...you're trying the "Upload a File" button? Have you tried the "Image" button too? It's between the smiley face and the film strip icons on the tool bar.

My summer project bike. An old Specialized Hardrock I got while volunteering as a bicycle mechanic. I made a few upgrades for riding the local trails, and even brought it with me on vacation. That's when I took this picture. There were bear sightings in the area, so I kept a can of bear spray in one of the bottle cages. Better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it! At least that was my reasoning.

Yeah. It stopped working for me a while back, and I'm not sure why. Maybe my profile was broken during a site upgrade.
