Not so down from health complications that I cannot get to church tonight, I am sure, and it has been a while since I last went. I'm sure that will cheer me up a little. ^-^

Also OMM: Advice for those guys who have done this before and are also the type to complain about not having an SO or never attracting women, ... try not calling them by a derogatory name like (w)itch when referring to the female race in general. So long as you exhibit that kind of behavior and seeming misogyny, you are likely to remain in the single state that you also lament over. At least, a woman with self-respect will not likely be coming your way anytime soon.

Does anyone know of or frequently listen to Chip Ingram? I don't recall hearing that name before the bible study tonight in which we watched a sermon he presented on forgiveness via Romans 12. There were two quotes in particular he made during this sermon that I thought were worthy of repeating here.

One was that you have a choice when responding to evil that someone has done to you - that you either be God yourself (in which of course since none of us actually ARE Him this means we just mess it up and makes things worse), or you let GOD be God.

The second was that when you determine to do good in return for evil to someone (especially to forgive), that is when you are being most like God.

These quotes are not exact as of course I cannot remember them word for word hearing them each just once an hour ago, but yes, this is wisdom to live by, I would have to say. .... Of course, forgiving and blessing sincerely in the face of the enemies who hurt you most, like any other command from God to do good, is always easier said than done. But supernaturally, by the Spirit, we can.

It is fortunate I somehow having gotten past feeling tired ever since getting out of work, even though I am encroaching on having been awake for 24 hours straight. It's still better not to go to sleep just yet since work comes back again in 20. When having to do 24-hour turnarounds on a shift schedule, one has to aim for not going to sleep too early such that you end up having too much time remaining before work after awakening, and then having to last another 12 at work minimum before being able to get back home and sleep again. =/

Still, as I always said, I knew things like this would happen going back into Albemarle. Still say this is significantly better than having to stay in Houston and work in the lab at a place like Dr. Pepper.
