CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I saw her around CF not long ago.It just occurred to me. I wonder how Miss Spirit Reborn is doing? I have not seen her here in a while.
She's had a name change and is now Take Heart.

Yesterday evening was one of the worst evenings I've had. I don't know how I got through it. Thank goodness it's over now.

Everyone, excellent news! The laboratory technician position in Magnolia, for Brown and Root Industrial Services, that I was trying to get back home from the other job interviews out of town to apply to in time last week is open again even though it was filled just as I was applying the first time! I called the recruiting office to make sure my resume had even gone through to them since I had never heard back yet and the person who helped me, a lady named Juntele (wasn't that the name of the main villain from Rush Hour? 
) actually seemed enthusiastic to send my resume through to the Magnolia location again since she said the position reopened, as she took note on my resume that I had worked in that same area with Albemarle years before and also noted that she thought my resume to be quite impressive. ^-^ So she put it through to the manager of the Magnolia location right there while we were still on the phone and said I should expect a call back from the manager before the weekend.
It will be 12-hour shift work again, I believe, but, I like to think I can handle it a lot better now that I have long healed from my sickness five years ago (and was doing shift work at the time), and on top of that the reviews I have found by people working there were generally quite positive, like 4 out of 5 stars on average, so that's a good sign I will be content there. And, most of all, I will finally get to go back home to College Town. Please pray that if God wills it can all work out so that I may be home again for a time, however long it will take before Canada accepts and invites me.

We are still praying for you, Knightess, that you can manage these bad times if they must come, and that in due time God will help you find a solution to be completely healed of them. Just remember that each time it happens it will pass eventually.

Just used a cab to catch a ride home after a long day in the city. During the drive, I perceived that the cabby had a knack for doing comedy (just by the way he was saying stuff) and sure 'nuff; he had tried his hand at stand up and gotten decent feedback. So anyway, I encouraged him to stick with it. But as I was getting out of the car, I said to him, "God bless and stay safe" and he replied with something that was unexpected but very odd. He told me that he loved me too.
Wait, but what!?! When did blessing someone and telling them to stay safe warrant an "I love you, too" response. Strange brew I say
I try to think the best of folk, but this dude reminded me of a big old lucius clay firgure. he might've been queer too. idk. but im going to buy him a book on the art of comedy and constructing it, and then give it to him as a gift. it will leave room to share the faith of Jesus Christ with him too. I'll even throw in a gospel tract for a bookmarker. lol ps - pray for him to come to know Christ as Lord and Savior. His name is Shawn
