CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

If I may interject with a prayer request, I had a rough night last night. Sudden digestive problems and all, and I was in a lot of pain for about 30 minutes, very similar to the curled-up-on-the-floor-in-oddly-freezing-and-burning-both-at-the-same-time-agony pain I had from that bacterial infection about four months ago, and thankfully many of you were giving me encouragement and recommendations on what I could do in the future to keep from such problems. Still have perpetual discomfort right now from last night, but it isn't nearly as bad as before.
@Toro, I believe you and a couple of others had a suggestion at that time. Can you tell me what it was again? I just remember it started with a K, something you said I should consider including in my diet.

Kefir?
Im not a professional but it is my understanding that the good bacteria fights bad.
Kefir helped me A LOT and I have had a life time of stomach problems.... but that all changed when I tried kefir. I wasn't suffering a bacterial infection as far as I know, but it is likely worth a shot. Especially IF you took antibiotics as antibiotics not only kill off the bad bacteria but the good as well.
Given your circumstances, you would likely be best served with the homemade kefir, but being that homemade is more potent than store bought, you may want to start off small (store bought) and move up to homemade.
As far as I know kefir is VERY easy to make. My step sister in law makes her own. All you need is milk and kefir "grains" (not a grain really it is a strain of bacteria that feeds off the lactose in the milk)
You then leave the milk sitting out and allow the bacteria to eat the lactose.... what remains is strained off (My step sister in law said NOT to use a metal strainer to do it) and you drink it.
From what I have read:
Store bought kefir is about 1,000 times more powerful/useful than yogurt.
Homemade kefir has 100,000 times more helpful strains of good bacteria than the store bought.

.... May I ask, is the lucky man the same person I remember you telling us once used to be a friend but came forward to you eventually and expressed that he had romantic feelings for you all along and so you decided to give him a chance? Was it a whirlwind romance then? I guess so.

Probiotics are also good for digestive problems. It could also be possible that maybe you have a food sensitivity or allergy, have you ever been tested for that?

Not that I know of. Although the lady doctor who pushed the camera down my throat a year and a half ago has told me to avoid certain things in the future.

Well I added to the post.....
I can;t say it will help you but it DID amazing things for me. I still thank God that He led me to finding it...... I always add on I wish I had found out about it 20 years or so sooner..... but His timing is best so who am I to argue?
