  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I meant that doing good deeds like visiting your loved ones and others who might need the company, and then watching the greatest Christmas-themed film of all time, is by far the best way to spend this time.

You're so right and as a bonus it seems like the storm isnt nearly as bad as they said it would be,Yeah its windy but not bad enough to knock out the power.

The messages reenforced things the Lord conveyed privately. They continued to appear until I understood what He needed from me.

I didn't have the best Christmas.. was in a angry headspace for most of it.. once in a while the manlet anger breaks through and it's hard to stop.. didn't plan for it to ruin my Christmas.. but it randomly popped up today.

I had a little frosé (frozen rosé sorbet) this evening. Just a few spoonfuls. I remember a time when I loved frozen treats. We devoured ice cream, gelato, and sorbet. I still enjoy them. But the Lord's influence is evident. He modified my diet and the desire disappeared.

Special Angels Adoption Campaign

The organization focuses on special needs adoptions and the blog is matching donations. I usually work with Angel Tree. But I’m glad I discovered them.
