I'm sorry to hear that, I was just getting caught up on what you were saying about your Dad in the thread. I hope things get better. I know it's really tough. I'm glad you're pulling through though

Yeah.. if anything I think this ordeal has taught me something about patience.

Things are better with my father than they were a week or two ago. Still.. even if he is overall getting better.. it seems like he's dealing with some issue every few days. So many issues that I haven't even thought about some, despite being serous.. like him losing his eyesight.

He seemed like a cool guy. I'll miss his comics. Also, it looks like Multi is leaving as well. I'll miss her art, too. They both brought a lot to the forum.

That said, there have been times when I've needed a break from this forum. Things can get pretty crazy at times. 2012 - 2015 or so was a particularly bad era, as far as I'm concerned. Which isn't to say it was all bad... there were lots of good people around, but there seemed to be more trolls. I can only imagine what the mods of that era went through.

If I recall, Multi has talked of leaving before, but hasn't actually done it.

Rene is moving on to bigger and better things. God has been doing a great work in him through this church he started attending recently, which is incredible and very encouraging to witness. The internet has had an adverse affect on him over the years, so I can definitely understand his decision. Although, he'll still be available on Skype and Discord.

I think Multis mainly wants to get away from all the negativity on the forums, and doesn't post as much as she used to. Although, she still sticks around for PMs.

Honestly, I've considered following suit regarding CF. Just isn't the same, especially the Singles forum. Many previous CF members are active on Discord anyway.

Compared with what used to go on here, I'd say this is a good time to be around. I can't remember the last time I saw an argument break out here. Never a troll we can't dispatch either, it's alright I'd say.
