Vanilla Coke is pure addiction for me. If Lemon Coke was still available in my country, I'd give that one a try too after trying the Lime Coke.

Honestly, I just find Vanilla Coke fatiguing. Lime Pepsi works for me (Pepsi seems to have a citrus cut anyway), and Lemon works well if it's ICE cold and almost slushy in consistency.

I quite often play around with those freestyle machines in Burger King to see what might work... Strawberry kind of does and to an extent fruit punch, but those syrups taste so artificial that it's hard to get a proper reading. Grape just makes everything taste like spray paint.

I've been offered free tuition for grad school as a researcher, but I'd have to move and maybe sell my house. My current situation is pretty good. Not a day goes by that I don't feel thankful. It allows me to learn and pursue my goals with greater autonomy than I may ever see again. Both come with unique opportunities. One may have higher status, easily presented on a CV, but the other is possibly more fulfilling. Maybe there's a way I can do both.

After Sonic fans complained about Sonic's design in the movie trailer, the director responded on twitter and promised they would change Sonic's design. Today the director released the new look. I have to say, this is major improvement.

Does anyone else feel patronized when every video on YouTube tells you to "like, comment, subscribe, and hit the bell button"?

You can always thumbs down.
I never understood the “bell button”. If i’m subscribed to a channel I’ll see it without notifications by just looking at what was recently posted.

Some of them may sound like they are trying too hard to promote themselves through their video though the content can actually speak for itself if the makers are sincere enough to do it well.

On the other hand, the reminder (of comment, subscribe and hit the bell button) may have the effect of "Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you."

Then again, it may produce the reverse psychological effect of making people doing the opposite by say hitting the dislike button?

I would usually view the content and its presentation more than the others. Say for example, if I want to know the latest trend of fashion for different seasons, and if the makers can make appropriate videos reporting on them, then I would subscribe to their channel so as to get the latest updates on a regular basis.

There are a lot of fashion designers or makeup artists (not the popular ones like those appearing on the red carpet) for example, who make use of YouTube to gain a name for themselves and in return providing them an opportunity to increase their clientele volume, in sales, and to attract business from companies of brands. Or record companies, including churches use Youtube to promote their music, increase the sales volume of their music release, etc.

In other words, Youtube is not just a platform for entertainment (though it is still one of the media outlets for all sorts of entertainment, news, information, etc), it is also used as business entries and marketing of products and services. The higher the ratings (likes, subscribers) the better. So anyone can reach out for business opportunity without much capital as long as established companies are willing to work with them. It is like an entrepreneurship where people start small and gradually venture out into the business world. All you need is some simple tools like computer or laptop with camera, speakers and recording devices, and obviously internet connection to upload videos to your YouTube account. If one is to persistently make good videos regularly with the aim of venturing into a business entity, I suppose he/she may eventually succeed.

They're flexible with hours, but it doesn't look like I can take extended leave. If only I could use my accumulated sick days. That way, I could get "sick" whenever there's a class, and still have a few left over. Not serious about that, but I'm definitely weighing my options.
