CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

God loves the weak. He came for the weak. The weak physically, mentally, emotionally. He came for the outcast, the hated, the poor monetarily, the poor in spirit, he came for prisoners, excons, prostitutes or former prostitutes. He came for the lowly and he raises them high, he raises them above those who are high in this life by giving us eternal life. He came for the oppressed (truly oppressed, not this sjw nonesense), he came for the ones trapped in addictions, whose lives are ruined or near ruined, he came for the homeless. He came for those who cannot repeat things they've done, those who "sometimes lived in darkness" according to scripture.
If you don't understand or believe these principles then you need to recheck your Christianity. If your Christianity consists of Jesus only coming for middle to upper class people who always have food on their table and cars, houses, university degrees, etc., - then you're missing the entire point. If you think he came for good people who did a few mistakes here and there but for the most part were good, you are missing the entire point. If you think you are above those listed who have been forgiven, then again, you are both wrong and have no concept of Christ.
Jesus came for sinners and will only forgive those who know themselves to be such. Grace and mercy can only come into a heart that knows it's need of them.
Posted it here instead of rants because it's not really a rant. Just see so much stuff like I listed above in the church today. Sometimes it feels like I'm alone in the church, like I'm this one who shouldn't be touched because of my past and present. People need to learn the most important things of the gospel and the things God cares about the most.
Edit - I want to be clear and say I'm not ragging on those who had an easier go than others. Not saying that if you were upper or middle class, never experienced the darker realm of life, that you are less than those who did. But I am saying that those who didn't need to understand that Christ's main goal was healing. And healing takes place where brokenness is. That's all.

These really are the end times... once the rapture happens, only then will people like us look like they knew what they were talking about. People will be eating, drinking and marrying... just like before the flood... then all these things will come.

Sure seems quieter around here now with Toro gone.
... And less sweet overall with ladies like PeachieKeen gone.
.... But thankfully Multifavs, SunshineForJesus, and others are still here to hold up the standard. 
I do wonder whatever happened to Miss Zipadee, though? She was quite pleasant, but came and went in such a short time, it seems. Hopefully her mirror image in the nursing realm Miss Swords&Sunflowers will return soon, though.

Afterthought: .... Eesh. Perhaps the lab where I work now is turning into a slasher film setting. Two people out of about 20 lab techs (like myself) in all have dropped in the two months I have been there, the second being just this past weekend for ... well ... let us just say making a very bad decision, one that is basically against the entire code of being in my line of work. Who will be next? Hopefully no one while I am around, least of all myself. I do not judge the person who made the bad decision and got fired, mind you, but, after seeing it happen I truly hope I will never be driven to purposefully or even somehow absent-mindedly make the same unwise choice no matter how stressed things might ever get for me at work.

The last few days have gone pretty well. At the very least, in the 1,000 things I accomplish in a single twelve-hour shift, the mistakes I make are never intentional, and I catch 90% on my own immediately.
... Kind of helps when you no longer have a trainer helicoptering over you who was more griping you out for things that don't even matter, too.

Who, Fox Girl?
(it just dawned on me that she has been compared to this animal a few times on here before in some way, so, there is my new name for the dear lass. ^-^ )It is my understanding that she can only be online with CF whenever she has access to a certain place, but, we welcome her here when she so rarely can be, regardless.
