Cannot seem to sleep. And work is coming up here in two hours. .... Please pray for me to get through today somehow without feeling tired. Especially since this is the first day since coming on that I am on a weekday day shift (therefore Nel and the others who have their own offices - ugh, The Man =/ - will be there, likely scrutinizing), so I need to do well on my own for a while without really needing to rely on Sara's help (one of the people who was hired out of school right alongside me but stayed there ever since and is now training me). Luckily I am able to relearn one product at a time instead of both that my section of the lab deals with, as one of the plants have been down all this time. So my work is effectively cut in half, which, timewise as of right now considering I do not have a pattern down yet on getting all the tests ran, will likely take about as long as it would for Sara or someone else who has been there for years to do the work of both plants. I will need to eventually deal with both myself soon enough, though. I did last time, so hopefully in just a few weeks I will able to do it this time, all over again.

I'm afraid it's too late, m'dear. Work is in one hour. But thanks anyway.

At the very least I know I only have two days in a row coming up and can sleep all I want thereafter, but after that bit of time off, it will be 5 out of 7 days working.

Yeah I didn't get much sleep either @SarahsKnight ... 2/3 hours max.

Not the reason I was up but I kept hearing banging sounds all night... new place, really old building... and I was like ok I really don't believe in hauntings but please God let that just be doors or something loool. Turns out yeah it was just doors apparently

I just had two elderly customers who not only recognized a song by Chicago (which I personally added to the playlist), but also said they’ve seen them in concert!
I’m used to old folks being into Glenn Miller, or Elvis, or someone ancient like that... this is too much.

I find this a bit hard to believe, Traveler, but of course, you know yourself better. It's good that you recognize your, shall we say, temporary rift in normal demeanor, and want to be better, though.

My "omen" is almost the same: "The secrets are not lost but waiting. Sleep well; they, too, have teeth."

(My eyes are a blue-green color so I guess that would be "other". )

The right combinations could be more funny than ominous. Your teeth could have teeth, be gone when you look away, or plot revenge on you.
