I know how you feel about the pressure, S&S. Sometimes my dad brings up about how I don't have a job, and it hurts my feelings a little. It feels like he is putting pressure on me, though I'm sure he doesn't mean to. I can't help it that I'm not mentally or emotionally ready to work in a social setting. I can't help it that the one job I did try for didn't want me.I totally agree. I like what I'm doing right now and it's already stressful in itself. I guess I should just learn to be content and stop comparing myself with my peers. It can get tempting sometimes to leave bedside nursing, but I realized how the turnover rate is already high, and patients need nurses who are experienced, who are able to notice subtle changes and who are proficient in performing the care related skills. I guess there's also a wrong perception that busyness is purpose. But you are right that there should be a balance.
I know that you do your best; do what you know is best for you.Cats are easier to deal with. And to clean up after!
Thnx Multi. Yeah, quite true. We must just do our best and what we can. Adulting is so exhausting lolI know how you feel about the pressure, S&S. Hang in there.I know that you do your best; do what you know is best for you.
Are you accepting applications?but but...what if I come home after a long day...who will pat me in the back? who will give me a hug? who will feed me if I'm too tired to cook, and if I get sick, who will cook me chicken soup

I guess it's time for a new blog entry!
You're right Way. Thanks.I understand that disappointment. The thing is, competition is a lot more fierce than it was decades ago since we live in an age where talents are far more developed than ever before. I bet the greatest musician in history never touched an instrument. Maybe the smartest person in history never learned how to read. Maybe the that above average soccer player was in fact a fencing prodigy. The thing is, they never had the opportunity to discover those things and apply themselves to them. I know you worked very hard and were likely out-competed by someone else who also worked hard on their art talents. With the internet to give us easier fame and fortune, more people are going to have incentive to hone their skills. Competition is only going to get fiercer since life is becoming more of a high school popularity contest now.
I'm sure there are still opportunities for your art. You can be a freelance artist making commissions for those who genuinely enjoy your art. I see it all the time on Deviant Art. Most artists worth their salt there never make art for free and try to make money off of it. Another thing to keep in mind that art is based mostly on popularity, luck, and timing rather than skill. Vincent van Gogh is currently known as one of the greatest painters of all time but he only sold one painting in his entire lifetime. He was unappreciated until after his death. He had talent and skill but not luck or timing. Leonardo da Vinci is another example but his main breadwinning talents were engineering in addition to art to which he had few competition in. Failure in art is a lot more common than one thinks hence why there's the starving artist trope in existence.

Thank you!You did an excellent job on Rainbow, Multis.Are you going to be selling these as well?

@Swords&Sunflowers
I'm not sure if you're the type that likes shows like Family Guy but there's an episode that reminds me of you.
In the episode, Meg gets a job at a diner where she brings her little brother, Stewie, there and he would eat pancakes every time. Meg would come up with sob stories to customers on how she's a teenaged single mother of a crack addicted baby in the streets to get extra tips. Eventually social services take away Stewie and put him into a foster home. Since his love of pancakes was at the point of addiction, Stewie suffers withdrawal effects and tears apart the house looking for pancakes. Eventually Stewie pushes over a desk and says he wants pancakes. The foster mother then says, "Poor dear, that must be street slang for crack."
Mmm pizza.bahahah lol i'm still good for now, i have self control...i dont think of pancakes 24/7...nor maple syrup...or how soft and tasty every bite is...oh no not at all...the different flavors...the smell...how butter freely melts on the top...specially if its cooked just right......

with maple syruppp????Mmm pizza.
There used to be a local restaurant called Granny’s and they made the best pancakes... the size of a dinner plate and perfectly golden brown in color... oh how I miss them![]()

When that happens, I’ll buy you some pancakes there*pats strider's back...
it's okay man....a day will come another granny will open up such resraurant and cook quality pancakes and people will flock there and there will be world peace!
