omgee zelda breath of the wild is so awesome! Sooo worth it! im so addicted! lol
I got distracted in the opening part of the game (so I missed part of it) and I couldn't figure out the navigation so I ended up just exploring on my own until I was informed by a family member (who had never even played the game) that I did in fact have some sort of quest I was supposed to do. ^_^
It's definitely a fun game so far. :D

lol yeah, so fun! I like that there's so much to explore and do, and lots of side quests. hahaha i took a screenshot of a funny attack, i was trying to attack a bokoblin camp, but my melee weapons were all torches, decided to retreat, but the bluish purple bokoblin, that thing runs fast:fearscream:...i ended up hoping they won't "see" me if i "hid" on the edge of the clift haahahah oddly it worked :tearsofjoy:

My family tree research has got a bit of a boost as I discovered that Family Search (which is run by the Mormons) is free and has transcriptions of the documents that I can't view on Ancestry because I'm not willing to pay what they charge. I've already been able to fill in some gaps, so it looks like I'm going to do all my research on that site. The Mormons might believe some strange things, but I've got no complaints over their genealogical endeavours.

And on the subject of my family, I've come across two cases of great-great-grandparents having 11 children! I know that infant mortality was higher then, and I haven't looked into how many of those actually survived, but even if they didn't that's a long time in total that those two great-great-grandmothers were pregnant for.

If a lady appears to be going to effort outside of the ordinary to wear make up when she's meeting me, does it mean she's interested in me?
It’s possible.

Wow that’s cool that worked. ^_^ So far all the fights have been pretty funny... even the few that I kept dying.
I fought two archers with my bow and i was dodging their shots and then picking up the arrows to use. ^_^ I like that I can do that.
I learned to only carry maybe one or two torches. And I’ve been carrying mostly those club things I get from the badguys. ^_^

I think that familysearch website is fairly new and it’s pretty cool that it is free.

I have quite a few ancestors who had 10 kids too.
One of my grandmothers had 7 siblings I think. Which isn’t quite 10 but still quite a few.
I think the generations above that in my family is where there were more cases of families having 10 kids. Except when parents died young.

I surprisingly have a number of ancestors who didn’t get married until their 30s.

on my mind? Now with VBS and other things out of the way, am thinking about my next road trip!
Last year, I drove from Arizona to Ohio, then up through much of Michigan and on to the UP. Then, into Wiconsin, Indiana, Kentucky to visit the Creation museum and the Ark. Then through Tennesee, Ark, Okla, Tx , NM back to Az. It was fun and about 6,000 miles.
Not sure where I will go this time. Am still going to a big car meet in Norwalk, Ohio first. After that , have yet to decide. Am thinking of going to to Michigan, up to the UP, across the top of Wisc into Mn up to Duluth. It is just someplace I have yet to visit. hmmmm I cannot wait to hit the road for a week or 2, maybe 3.

Answered prayers. It doesn't make Him less awesome when the prayers seem to go unanswered...... but how can you contain it when they are answered?

I haven't paid much attention to ages at marriage, but it does seem like most of my ancestors got married in their early 20s, as you'd expect. Then it hit my generation and most of us are over 30 and still single. :D

My great great grandmother got married at around 31-32 then started having kids. They had the first few without a doctor then opted to send for doctors after that. They lived in a sod house.
My grandparents got married in their 30s as well.

It may not have been typical in the past to wait until 30s... but it has happened even in the past.

The big Eevee plushie I made last September has very floppy ears, and I've been thinking that they probably just aren't sewn on well enough (a common problem with my plushies ). Doing some hand-sewing on them would probably help them stand up better, but I keep being lazy and not doing it. :p I should try to do it today.

Wonder when nostalgia just started.. like in the past.. technology and fashion might have stayed pretty much the same in a century. Did ancient Romans have nostalgia?

Fashion is strange to me. Like, I was watching Tombstone again the other day and they were wearing these huge Victorian gowns and suits in the freakin' desert! It had to of been 120 degrees out there and they're wearing multiple layers of black, heavy clothes. Why?

People were also smaller and thinner back then and didn't obtain as much heat.

In the 1990's, there was 1970's nostalgia. In the 2000's I remember there being 1980's nostalgia. Now in the 2010's there's 1990's nostalgia everywhere.

Does that mean in the 2020's there's going to be 2000's nostalgia?
No, what's to like about bad music and overly CGI movies? :sput:

Besides, 80s-90s nostalgia is all you need. :satisfied:

Long Live The Eighties!!!

Imagine that in bright neon letters..... :sorry:

I finally did the hand-sewing on Eevee's ears. They're still floppy, but oh well. At least they're stronger now. :p
