(So excited I am sharing this in two different places. )

... Me after finally defeating Ethan Must Die mode in Resident Evil 7 just now, a treacherous mini-game where our hero must make it from one end of the Baker estate to another with monsters and traps all around - most of which can easily kill you in one hit, and then you have to start all over - and weapons and items are randomized. Survival horror veterans like myself are tested to the limit on their skills. It may have taken literally 100 attempts, but I am the master, baby! ^-^

Awesome and congrats SK! must've been a very challenging game. Gaaah it looks so scary!!! Lols saw some walkthroughs in youtube

Well, he did win the heart of Christina Ricci in that movie, so, I guess I'll take that as a compliment.


Oh, trust me, when I have the time, I shall be putting up my awesome feat on YouTube for all to see. I never let great moments in my gaming career such as this go unrecorded. So believe me, every moment was captured ... even my 99 other unsuccessful attempts before this one.

It's a long and tragic story, I'm afraid. You must be referring to Jack Baker. He was once a normal middle-aged man, just living peacefully out in the swamplands of Louisiana in solitude with his loving wife and two children. Until ... the night they had the grave misfortune to find ... her. *cliche thunderclap outside at the speaking of a name of great evil*

You can see how it all started here, the horrifying but tragic tale of Resident Evil 7 (a.k.a. Biohazard 7, as it is known in Japan), sure enough on a dark and stormy night. (No violence or jumpscares in this video.)

I know, right?! She has the appearance of not a monster but an ordinary human girl, and yet, she is easily one of the most frightening creatures conceived in Capcom's imagination when it comes to the Resident Evil series. If for no other reason than every monster and otherwise awful encounter the main protagonist Ethan Winters ever has to suffer in the course of the game's main story is because of this one girl.

She has an even more chilling moment at one point in the main game. I can't find it on Youtube, but when as Ethan's wife Mia you firmly tell her that you will never be "her family", she frowns and says "... Then I don't need you anymore!" ... And then immediately appears right in your grill and laughs coldly before disappearing from sight. O_O

Be warned, Miss S&S, as I want to be considerate of any sensitivities you might have. This game gets pretty violent at times. That part I posted on YT that you just saw was one thing, but the main game is another. It is called survival horror for a reason.
My personal boundaries are crossed if I am forced to fight and slaughter regular human beings in video games, so I turn my nose up at such games.
And there are only monsters in RE7, but nevertheless, some of them still take a human appearance and the violence can be pretty brutal. And there is some swearing in the dialogue. Just want to be sure you know this beforehand, as everyone rightfully has their consciences about such things.

Last day I have to babysit all these dogs and keep cleaning up their mess (yeah, that kind of mess - it is exactly what you are thinking) because they utterly refuse to take it to the backyard like normal domesticated animals. Sadie, Angel, and Molly should all be gone this afternoon ... and then I will have to deal with just Tallulah as normal.
