I'm becoming so disillusioned by politics. I know they matter, but I'm getting sick of being constantly lied to by both political parties, by our government, and the media telling me what to be outraged about, especially when they slant stories and distort the truth.

I want to focus my attention on Christ and not get distracted by the noise.

That would be a good thing to do. Politics and the corruption fires me up too. That's why I have to take it in small doses.

I got too deep into it this time around, and I was foolish to think, "oh, all this craziness will end once the election is over," but it just continued and is doing nothing but dividing us further and further. I don't want to be a part of that anymore. I have my thoughts and opinions on things, but I can show more grace in how I discuss things, which is something I'm working on.

Growing up, I was never allowed to have independent beliefs and thoughts. To share an opinion got me beaten, so as an adult, I tend to strongly defend my opinion and enjoy discussing various points of view.

You can change the homepage in settings.
On one of my computers I set my church as my homepage on internet explorer because that’s the only reason I’ve needed to use that browser.
Generally I will just set google as my homepage on most internet browsers.
