Unfortunately, there seems to be no information either way on that front.

Since it was front and center on their FB page as they recommended, I like to think it is safe to show you how the group appeared tonight at Mule Kick. I could not see the lady on the left at all from where I sat at the bar, so for a while I actually thought the father and other daughter were the only two composing the group, for the first few songs or so before they formally introduced themselves. This gentleman upon closer inspection seemed to be only about five years older than me, ten at the absolute most.

In any event, it was a most pleasant and unexpected way to end this day. The atmosphere in the place among all of the patrons and staff, thanks to their seeming genuinely passionate performance in so many different eras and genres of popular music, just seemed very happy and carefree in an innocent way.

The gospels even say that Christ entrusted himself to no man (when he was here on earth ) because he knew what was in their hearts. To me this is more of a sin nature issue than a gender problem.

I'm also not unsympathetic to the suffering some have here. I get that many strongly desire companionship and marriage and aren't able to be in relationships. That's definitely a source of suffering. I understand the frustration and depression. I wouldn't joke about their misery and term it "incel," but some have taken things way too far here and are really sharing nasty and ridiculous things. So ridiculous it is comical in a dark way.

Woot I just got a raise at work! It's unbelievable how things have quickly turned around in my life. Lost 200 pounds, started a successful YouTube channel, going back to college to get my degree in Theology, and getting a raise at work! I'm praising God for all of it!

Trying to start to eat some sort of breakfast. Usually skip this meal, but starting to think that as a mistake. Because when I do eat a little something I feel much better throughout the day.

Might seem obvious to some, but my mind tends to try to block out what my body goes through.

I think we all did, last night. As I said before, it just looked and felt like one of those scenes where every human there seems happy and content, just sort of innocently celebrating life in general through great entertainment such as that which Shaw Revolver - in particular the good lady on the right, with me personally of course ^-^ - provided through their music. We humans all got our problems, and life is unfortunately often tough and cruel, but for the moment, we were able to forget it all. It's the same reason I can never help but smile at the scene towards the end of Ferris Bueller's Day Off where everyone in the parade is singing along with Ferris. I got the same vibe yesterday at Mule Kick. ^-^ ->

EDIT: While typing this I actually just got an FB notification that the group responded in thanks to my praise of them last night under their post about performing at Mule Kick. A few other people who were in the audience yesterday also commented. This was all around a most pleasant experience for me, and I imagine for everyone else who was there as well.

Life is good in spite of its unpleasantness. We've conditioned ourselves to see the bad and reduce the good to certain areas. Which negates the ones we overlook and take for granted. They're always there. All we have to determine is whether we'll recognize them or not and our choice sets the tone.

When we endeavor to see the good we will and life provides evidence to support our perspective. We become more aware of experiences that align with that principle. When we do the reverse the same holds true.

You have a unique sense of wonder that's difficult to maintain in challenging environments. But you've managed nonetheless. You're like that for a reason. Perhaps there's a Narnia within you or something along those lines.

Lucy was by far my favorite among the siblings in that movie, naturally. Perhaps for the very traits you described. ^-^

Well, that, and the fact that the cynic in me when I first saw this film way back then found the other three siblings to each be continually annoying in their own unique way.

We usually resonate with characters most similar to us or the person we want to become.

Harry Potter is a great example. Most people favored Hermione or Harry and were irritated with Ron. Rowling didn't care for him either. But he's a necessary component and provides something the others lack. The brother and family Harry never had and the acceptance Hermione needed. Both could be themselves with him and so could he. They provided the recognition he craved.

Sometimes, I start to feel positive, hopeful, or, dare I say it... even a little happy. But it's such a foreign feeling. I usually immediately begin to pick it apart and doubt it. I wonder what happy people feel like.

I don't know if I can really achieve happiness, but I think a general feeling of peace is within reach.

See, the sun is starting to set now, and while it's such a beautiful, tranquil time of day, I start feeling... anxious and unsettled. I think it's due to several things, more personal than I wish to share here in public. I hope one day to be healed of whatever the cause(s) are. And I wish I didn't have to spend so many years feeling this way. It's hard not to feel like giant hunks of life are just wasted on trying to fix the damage caused by other people.

I think a lot of people get more anxious at night and struggle with insomnia. Maybe because you don't have the tasks of the day to distract your mind?
