I was engaged in a lengthy chat with my coworker Mary earlier at work during a break and at one point she - perhaps absently - held a strand of hair with one hand while brushing along its length with the other. It was one of those cute actions that so many women do that I am often rather enchanted by , on a level that probably many other guys would question why such a seemingly simple thing spellbinds me so much. ^_^
No, I agree, thing like that get me too. I love those little things. Most guys probably do.

I've been on a date - and I kid you not, it literally lasted two days. I'm not so much exhausted as I am puzzled as to how we've been able to make it last so long, and both walk away with such a successful story under our belts. She's from Taiwan and struggles with certain nuances of the English language, (in fact, her English crumbles away entirely at certain points) and I have the heaviest London accent you can imagine and constantly throw out British slang words that can even baffle fellow countryman.

That was date number four, so she's obviously enjoying whatever it is "we" are. I don't think what we are falls into a defined category - I'm too bonkers for a start, and she's bonkers by proxy for spending all of that time in my company.

I suppose meeting through our common interests helps a lot. Despite the obvious differences we're both essentially the same thread - we're just threaded through a different loop. If in doubt, revert back to the common ground. The international language of passion, so to speak.
Congratulations

There is this black box ad that pops up for about 20 seconds every minute or so on the right of the screen & it's very frustrating whhen the text gets to the right of the screen. & there's no way to click out of it.
No one else gets this black box of death?

One of life's greatest pleasures for me, Sarah's Knight, is meeting (and in some cases subsequently becoming friends with) so many pretty girls.
Very nice. I can't even get friendzoned! But I run into guys primarily.

Exhausted! Up at 6:30am for work, long commute, long day, had to drive 30 minutes further from home for a client visit right at 4:30pm (I'm a social worker), so I had to wrestle with about an hour and a half of rush hour traffic to get home afterwards, got in about 6:15pm. I am spent.

But at least I can leave work early tomorrow, since I worked late today.
Interesting

People today are familiar with parent-child love & the spouse-to-spouse kind of love. But the concept of brotherly love has been all but lost & corrupted. Nowadays when people see it described in the past, culture thinks it gay, that it’s automatically sexual, but brotherly love is more than that. I’m not talking about blood brother, I’m talking about a bond between man-to-man or woman-to-woman that isn’t based on something silly or superficial like physical benefits. Brotherly love is more than that. Soilders who fought & served together describe it. It’s beautiful.

Paul kind of describes it in the Bible.

Absolutely. Teach this to your kids! The next generation can correct this sick, twisted thinking that we currently see in our culture. My son and I were just talking about this yesterday, how there's nothing wrong with male friends showing love and affection to each other.

Looking forward to my vacation that starts in about a week. Been working a lot these past few years. Well, at least for me. I know some people here who seem to work horrendous hours... still.. I really need some time to unwind.

I'm just going to stay at home. I'm not really a traveling type person. It's just too stressful for me.

Might go somewhere with friends later this year, but not sure about that.

Staycations - as they say - are just as valid. The whole point of a vacation is to do whatever you enjoy! Do you have anything fun planned for your downtime?

I was watching the French Open coverage a while ago, and there was a match between two young women, and they were wearing identical outfits. Given how they were both blondes as well, it didn't take me long to realize I was never going to tell them apart. :waaah:

If every believer prayed for a Revival, it would happen! Pray for a revival! I want to live to see a Revival! In your neighborhood, in your town, in your city! We want to see a movement!

I'm clicking thru the different sub-sections, & just a warning: don't go into the Married section.
I have to look now. I'm curious. Hope it's not as bad as the non-Christian Debate section.
