  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

This time of year tends to overwhelm me sometimes due to trauma, and I think that I am not doing as well as I normally would, so I am feeling a bit disappointed in myself, that's all. Thanks for asking, and God bless you!

Well, if anyone is into Korean derivatives of The Walking Dead, I think overall I can recommend All of Us Are Dead on Netflix, a short one-season show about a zombie outbreak at a school, whereupon a band of students come together and struggle to survive while finding an escape route. And so many cute actresses who played good characters. ^-^ In particular, Park Ju-hyun as the lead heroine was adorable (on the right in the picture below).

I've been in a mental fog since getting a flu shot several days ago. Vague feelings of fatigue, but without body aches or other flu-like symptoms. Hopefully, it will clear up soon. When I went for a bike ride the other day, my stamina was noticeably lacking. I also didn't get around to finishing all of my weekend projects. Fortunately, nothing important was delayed. I'd rather deal with this than the flu but it's annoying nevertheless.

I just found out my very first Christian mentor passed away yesterday. He was an amazing man of God and no doubt in the arms of Jesus. He has an amazing testimony as a former alcoholic who had a conversion experience similar to Paul and transformed his family into believers. I lost contact with him over the years, but he will be missed on this earth.
