I’m sorry if I confused you. I was expounding on my previous post.

In respect to your comment, I’ve seen them and its unfortunate they’ve jumped on that bandwagon. We are the fairer sex and our warfare differs and shouldn’t mimic men.

The arguments and debates erode her softness and bring coarseness in its place and there’s always an edge. Reductions in femininity usually follow. She’s always in battle mode and he’s the target. They fear men unless they have control and the upper hand.

It’s difficult to find a woman with a gentle and quiet spirit. Someone who doesn’t want to be a man, compete with him, or usurp him either. She’s content with her place and his and God’s design. We need more of the same.
Yeah, it's all over. Even if they believe that, is that really the first or only thing you write in your Tinder profile? It's like no wonder why these girls are single. That's what they're being told to type? That's what they think a good opening line is? That their core identity is that they're oppressed? No thanks. I'm sure a lot of guys would agree. Then these girls wonders why they're still single. There is a huge divide like that all over.

Oh no! Do you still have a job or it is because finances have been very tight and the time you had to take off?
Yeah, I'm really bad off right now. A week from having my lights off and stuff. This whole year has been a bad financial season for me, especially as inflation got worse and I lost a ton of clients. Now with this surgery, I've been off work for two weeks to recover, then my editor gets sick and doesn't assign me more work for another week. It will be another 2-3 weeks before I get paid again. I just need a new job that's not writing. I can't do this any longer.

No. I just don't think I'm the right fit for this woman.

Maybe the purpose of your meeting isn’t companionship. But the seed you’re chewing on. If that’s the case see where it leads. This is time to throw caution to the wind when responsibilities are few and risks are less.

There’s a big world out there. Go and see it. I think you’ll be glad you did. :)

Sounds really hard and stressful. Getting ready for bed and I will say a prayer for you.

The short answer is yes. When I was younger etiquette was a mainstay and girls wanted to be ladies to mimic their mothers. You learned at home or took classes that prepared you well.

As modernity crept in you no longer saw it. Gentility was set aside for empowerment yielding a different spirit, mindset and masculine energy. The more liberated she becomes the greater her demise. She’s uncovered now. The mystique is gone and allure is waning. There’s nothing to look forward to.

Once upon time women civilized men. We smoothed the rough spots and inspired his betterment. He tamed the beast for her. But now she has her own.

The further we stray from propriety the more you have to draw a line in the sand. You can’t succumb to its influence. What you bear beside you is the benchmark for what follows. She’s the template for your progeny. Choosing well is a must.

Cooking books must sell well. They put out a ton of them. Some are pretty random IMO. The Elder Scrolls game franchise? Supernatural the TV show? One Piece the pirate anime?

Apparently Snoop Dogg is making bank. He's number 2 right now for Celebrity and TV show cookbooks.

Y'all, the local classic rock station just played Milli Vanilli, and then followed it with Chicago 25 or 6 to 4. My ears don't understand. I am truly old, now.

Milli Vanilli wasn't even rock when it came out, so how... it doesn't matter.

I'm a One Piece fan & was paging thru it. Was thinking of checking it out from the library, buying it for myself, or buying it for my cook friend. Plus one of the characters in 1P is a chef.

True, merchandising is where the real money is lol.

I haven't seen much One Piece. That helps justify the cookbook if a chef is a major part of the series. Would be cool if you had someone to get it for and make you the meals from it. ^-^
