CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I figured out how to sign-in to all my stuff w/out using my Facebook account. So I'll finally be able to shutdown my Facebook! I don't even remember the password & it's set to an old email I don't have access to anyways so I can't retrieve it. So bye Facebook!!!

Been thinking about a few of the people here who have been gone a while, like Bella, Somber, and Linux. I pray they are all doing well! I especially hope I didn't scare Linux away.

Well, if it makes you feel any better I never knew, so I doubt it could have been intense enough to legitly scare a lady off.
But, oh, to have my dear Princess Somber back with us. ^-^
... She was a noble princess I was endeavoring to prove myself as a knight to in one of those "If the Singles Forum Was" stories someone made up long ago, you know.

But, oh, to have my dear Princess Somber back with us. ^-^

.... Also my air conditioning is out again. At some point while I was at work all last night it broke down for the second time this year. I don't know if I want to continue paying 850 a month for that.
But then I tell myself I have only seen one roach in the four years I have lived here, despite it being in southern Arkansas, so maybe it is worth it.
I only pray that the summer heat is over by now around here.

The now only lady remaining in my Discord group from RPGMMag, Luna, has chosen Inside Out for our animated/anime movie for tonight.
I am normally averse to seeing animated movies outside of the anime art style and culture (as much as I actually despise most of the anime I have seen since leaving my teenage years - I just will always love some aspects of the culture such as the music and the fact that anime girls are the cutest
), but Inside Out was surprisingly engaging and insightful, I thought. Basically it had to do with illustrating human emotions a person is capable of as individual creatures inside of the mind, and how they interact with each other, and I thought the metaphors and analogies shown therein were really cleverly executed. When a conflict happened in the main character Riley's mind that resulted in her capacity for Joy and Sadness being ejected into the desolated regions of her mind, to where she could no longer feel them, and the only emotions left at the controls were inherently negative such as Anger, Fear, and Disgust - thus they did not know how to handle Riley's day to day life thanks to any positive emotions to counterbalance them being absent, I actually found myself genuinely caring about Riley's fate, whether she was ever going to return to normal or sadly, completely self-destruct. The animation quality itself isn't on par with, say, The Lion King (which I think is overrated due seemingly solely to its high-quality animation and hardly any other aspects that can be judged), but I really liked it.
I recommend Inside Out, overall. Even the humor was mostly on point, which is a pretty rare compliment paid from me in these kinds of movies.
