We've had some rough threads and discussions lately, but I think we should start over. It's not always easy to get along online. The forum style of discussion (especially controversial topics ) lends itself to misunderstandings and tension. As much fun as awards are, it is back to being the scumbag in most eyes.

No kidding. From my own observations, we are not exactly as tight knit as it may seem. I really wish we could just drop the politics and just try to get along as best as possible. It pains me when I see users here talk trash about other users behind their backs because it reminds me of high school and I'm sure God didn't intend us to have a clique war because of perceived differences and flaws.
I don't know, maybe I'm a little idealistic and out of touch on the social crap since I'm autistic and all but we got to think that eventually we're all going to the same place on the other side and we will co-exist peacefully with each other for an eternity. It makes me think of Matthew 25:34-45 that states how we treat people will affect our standing with God. Surely we must make it our priority to co-exist with each other in spite of our disagreements, flaws, and mistakes.
I will admit, I don't have this social stuff figured out yet. What I do know is that Jesus said we must love each other like how God has loved us. (1 John 4:19-21, Romans 12:18, Hebrews 13:14)
