I feel quite depressed now.

Came home to find an injured bird dying on my driveway, it had a broken leg and wing, appeared as if it had been hit by a car (no, it wasn't me btw)

It was dying in the hot sun and sand dirt

So we moved it into the shade by a tree in the grass, left some water by it, and gave it a few pets. The sound it made got to me when we moved it, it wanted to live so much, it couldn't understand the misfortune that had fallen upon it

At least it can pass the last moments of its life in a better environment now and I was able to show it some compassion :/

Sometimes that is all you can do. On my way to work one day, I found an injured bird that must have hit the railing or the door somehow. It was just sitting there and I saw just a little bit of blood on its beak. So I placed it into a box (not with my hands of course!) and asked the roommate to take it to the animal hospital and see what they could do. I got a letter from them saying thanks but no info on the poor thing.

When I look at pictures of my grandparents, I see them wearing plaid shirts, suspenders, and nicely fitting trousers. The common image of an elderly man.

Made me realize that by the time I'm old and grey, t-shirts and baggy pants will be the fashion associated with the elderly.

I wear suspenders often but its usually with my dress suits when I am working retail.

As you get older your style will change because you will wear what is affordable and easy to wear.

To be honest, I wish we could go back to early 20th century fashion... Or at least me be able to wear these clothes without getting drive-by insults from Millennials.

Like this. I remember walking down to church wearing this and I pass this guy the same age as me wearing a hoodie jacket, a baseball cap, and those ear-elongating piercings. We both probably thought about each other, "He looks ridiculous!"

Amen. Canada is known for its promotion of multiculturalism so it really had an effect on me on how I see the world.

Early 20th Century fashion. It was how my Great Grandfather would dress in his day. People tell me I look Amish in this style.
