Oh my gosh! There's a new rating system! I'm in a jokey kind of mood and I'm already trying so hard not to use it on every single post.

With all due respect, I would rather not. These things honestly never turn out well, you know? I never even argue my side well, mainly because I can have all the good reasons I can think of carefully laid out in my mind beforehand but then once they are ready to go on paper, I freeze up and just don't explain myself well on a lot of the points; sometimes people can't even see where I am coming from. And I guess I chalk that flaw up to always being too afraid to possibly step on toes, and despite how loud and outspoken I have seen myself be a few times in the past (maybe not here but in other areas and times of my life), I actually balk at confrontation of any degree in general. Even if I know the other person who's opinion is opposite my own means well, too, and is not out to get me. I am actually generally afraid of seeming forceful or overpowering in speech to other people.

But honestly, the conditionalist thought is a lot more common on this site than I would have imagined when I first came here, and so you can likely still find a few threads on the subject of the nature of hell - traditionalism vs. conditionalism - in the theology or unorthodox doctrine sections here, although I eventually shied away from those threads a long time ago after this one member kept showing up to forcefully bash every one of my posts (and a lot of other conditionalists' posts, too), and so of course, I backed down and let it go. Not saying Lioness is doing this to me or anything, but it's just my unusual passiveness and fear of being aggressive in this kind of thing. Just how I am.

I know to many that this is a non-issue, but I'm getting rather irate about it because I hate money scroungers.

I have AdBlock enabled, so I've never really noticed the adverts. But it seems that CF have found a way to evade the system because whenever I go to sign in I'm linked to Bet365 or some other money making website.

Hyperlinks in members' posts? Despicable. Advertising banners are one thing, but that's just pathetic.

Becoming a supporter should be a free choice, and the added perks go with the territory, fair enough. But it feels an awful lot like we're being bullied into upgrading, and that's not right. I post on many forums - none of which are Christian, and ALL of them are advert free with nothing but integrity for its members.

I have no idea why CF think that this is acceptable. I really don't. It's contrary to what this wonderful faith is all about, and a BIG black mark against the forum itself.

This post may get me into trouble, but so be it. These dodgy adverts and hyperlinks are enough to make me want to walk out anyway. I come for Christian and Non-Christian fellowship, not iPhones, free £5 bets, or lonely housewives in my area - no, I'm not joking on that one.

Interestingly, I'm not seeing any hyperlinks in anyone's posts. I don't have premium, so that's not it, and while I do have Adblock installed, so do you. So I have no idea what I'm doing right to prevent me from seeing the links.

I always get the fake virus ad. I click the 'login' button and a "you have a virus, you must install this software now' kind of crap pops up. Really disappointed in CF for allowing these kinds of ads on their site.

Without being a bear minimum supporter, I wouldn't be able to post due to the ads... so yeah I feel the pain.

The ads wouldn't be so bad. I can close a Web page. My problem is that it affects me logging in. For some reason, clicking an ad before logging in, always make my login glitch. I type my username and password, but it doesn't take. The page loads and I'm still not logged in. I have to close the page and open it back up or the same will just keep happening. So when makes it popup automatic, odds are I can't even sign in.
