I honestly wonder if there are any contexts in which God would view suicide as an act of consecration and sacrifice.

Watch a youtube video about a parent shooting his childs laptop that the parent paid for. Both for the computer AND the repairs. He shot the laptop after seeing a facebook post about how much of an ingrate his daughter is.

Saying she is too good to do little things for her parents like getting their coffee or small chores. Saying things like "I am not my parents slave. If you want coffee get off your.... and get it yourself. If the floor is dirty clean it yourself. " with a lot of things I cant say on CF

Quotes such as "This is child abuse" and other stupidity

Yes, neglected children that are beaten, starved and other abuses. They watch this video and feel such disgust that someone is forced to endure such atrocities. :

Suicide is an act that is not only selfish, but its a sign in a lack of faith.

Saving someones life and it costing the person their life is an act of love for someone other than self.

Thing is God knows the heart so disguising a heroic act because one wants to die is known to be suicide and NOT an act of love for another. You can't ever fool God.

We all have thoughts at one time or another in our life that says "It would be easier to just end it"....... but we keep pushing. Whether it be based on faith that God pulls us through or be it that we wont let a circumstance beat us into giving up..... or multiple reasons..... we dont quit. Good things cant happen if you dont push through the bad.

Right now I'm good. I'm hoping this is the last time I backslide, but I can't say for 100%. I do have a lot of peace/joy right now though but who knows.

Only thing that helped me was my life being in complete chaos... I struggle at times with certain doctrines, and struggle with my life experiences that seem to point towards Judaism as being true. But at the same time, Judaism also screams to me as being untrue in many ways, so my life experiences combined with things that I see as untrue in Judaism make me live a walking contradiction. My mine divides into two, and I feel like I'm grasping for any straw possible to prove myself Christianity isn't true - just so I can have peace.

It never works out, lol. Seems there's no peace outside of Christianity... that there's a battle going on, but it's clearly being won only on the side of Christ. I see it in the media, in movies, everywhere... people fighting against Christianity... and the fighting itself is proof that Christianity is true, why so much enmity for something that's false? Doesn't make sense.

The problem with religion is there are so many but none can save you. If your a Jew or a Muslim or any member of any religion you still have no hope of eternal happiness, it is all in vain.

The only thing in the world that can give you eternal life is Jesus by Grace thru the Father.

We as people have a problem of trying to feel religion and you cant feel saved or feel Christian, you just are so being depressed or happy done not give you the truth, you just have to have faith in the truth.

If I was to look at all religions and chose I would chose none because there is no reason to. They do not save me or forgive me for my sins so why follow anybody but with Jesus you have somebody who committed an act of love and He paid the price for my sins so now I have a future and I chose to want to be like Jesus because He chose to help me when nobody else had.

I am very thankful to God today. I have been very sore and stiff the last few days and it was miserable at work and today as I was getting ready for work and as I was driving to work I kept letting God know that I felt miserable and to please help me and let me have a good day that I could enjoy and be thankful for.

A little after noon I realized that I was not sore and that I felt really good and was thankful for the job God has given me.

God is good always.

It's so easy to fall into that negative thinking. I used to tell people it was a skill of writing- turning something innocent into something ominous and dreadful. I never thought it bleed into my real life where nearly anything can give me a nervous heat in my chest.

I know that feeling...and it sucks. I'm still trying to ease myself out of that little rabbit trail.

Today was a good day, though. In fact, it was an awesome day. I was smiling and giggling and just a ball of sunshine all day. It felt like how I used to be before. I just hope that it continues and gets better for me mentally. I was getting really sick and tired of being miserable and feeling so depressed and lonely...I do still feel lonely and maybe a bit sad here and there, but it's slowly getting better.

I'm glad to hear you're doing better lately, and I hope you keep on doing better.
