CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Back when I was a teen and my two cousins on my mother's side were little and watched the Lamb Chop show a lot as I babysat them, I used to want to punch Charlie Horse right in his smug, buck-toothed, lamprey-like mouth every time he started singing that song at the end of the show. Unfortunately they seem to still be a ways from achieving technology that physically connects the real world to that behind the tv screen, so my fist couldn't reach him. =P

Ribs have been smoking since about 6, now they are done, life is good, ribs and sweet tea while jamming to Luther Allison and Freddie King, please let there be a good movie on so I can set back and relax.

A pleasant day for me, rather. Got up in the afternoon (since I work at night, may I remind you all, not that i am a lazy sluggard like the one described in Proverbs =P ). Mowed the lawn, showered up, ran an errand halfway across town, then decided at the last moment to go by the arcade at Boomer's on my way home to practice more Guitar Hero (you know that place, @Toro ?). Also thought to challenge myself by getting through Time Crisis 3 using only the handgun. Made it with 84 percent accuracy. ^-^
I am getting better at Guitar Hero to where I can beat most expert songs without much trouble, but still not what I used to be ten years ago when it was the in thing.
An employee at the arcade also came by to see me finish up a song and struck up a conversation with me afterwards about gaming and stuff, because we're nerdy like that. And now as I type this I contentedly await my customary Mai Tai and Dutch apple streusel cheesecake slice at the Cheesecake Factory. This is what a man's earnings for working as a wage slave at Dr. Pepper all week prior net him as a reward for the weekend. ^-^

Nope never been there. Im closer to Galveston than there.

Well I have a wedding reception to go to....
Go to put on suit pants, fit but a bit tight..... not sure how much bend they got in them.......
Put collared shirt on.... go to button top button...... I almost choke myself with the shirt.
So much precision wasted on my suit only to have it meaningless cause I gained weight.
They need to make clothes better. Back in my day they didn't shrink.... so much. (Hey, if we can blame guns for murder...... I can blame the fabric for my not fitting in clothes )
Gonna start calling myself fat neck.
