I don't think he did. Given the smaller number of years in power perhaps he was more destructive, but Stalin was an out and out sociopath. He'd actually execute a man if he didn't paint his portrait right.

The difference between Hitler and Stalin was that Stalin was more cold and calculating. So he wasn't in the business of outright invading countries. Unless the risk was extremely minimal.

You think your job has idiotic customers? Some genius customer down at my job tried to recycle a severed moose head. He threw it into the cardboard dumpster and we had to fish it out. This violates two laws: hunting out of season (unless you're Native American) and improperly disposing an animal carcass.

Two of my co-workers even chased around my manager with it and he ran like the wind.
