I try to think of bullies, offline and online as people who are hurting and probably don't have anyone to express their hurt to? But, sometimes those thoughts escape me when dealing with them.

Everyone who bullied me growing up (where it actually hurt me) were also widely bullied by others.

Yea, it seems to be the way. I just never bullied others, because I was bullied, and it never felt good, so why do it to others. At least with some online ones, I can just ignore them.
