Yeah, I got the job that I was after. And because it was the one I was after, I accepted it there and then. It pays REALLY well, with free accommodation to boot. Plus I have plenty of additional training opportunities as well, which is always a good thing. I hate hitting plateau's.

I'm going to be living in a cabin for the first two or three months - only until my manger sources me a little two up two down house.

Oh for sure. Plus, I'm only a ten minute drive from the nearest station - so I can still get direct trains to London Bridge.

Well, when they ACTUALLY get round to finishing the station revamp and start running the Thameslink Route properly again, then yes. But for now, London Bridge might as well be back in Arizona!

I'm a regular commuter who was born in Central London - so if it's a tour you want, then I'm your man. I've never once made a mistake on the tube. (I bet I make one now.)

Chinatown is a dead cert for me. I can't go to London without going there.

If we get time, I'll take you to this all you can eat steak house that I have a LONG history with. I once ate so much there, that on the train back, I fell into a semi-coma after Clapham Junction and barely moved for the duration of the journey. I felt as if I had concrete sitting in my stomach.

Its called Wifi at home and data on the road. Ive got 10gb a month and barely use it til recently, with roll over, I shouldn't have to worry for awhile.

Yes, thats the way I do it too.

But I do know some people that are stupid enough to cross the 3g/4g data limit, so they are watching/doing things to consume much more data

Gosh, I haven't had one of those since entering this 'healthy' phase. Such glorious temptation...

Also London is fabulous. So yeah. Everyone should come and enjoy themselves.

Must admit though, getting the tube at night can be a bit like spot the bed bug. Those little critters are all over the place. Their mating habits are pretty grotesque too, vile little things. Interesting though. Which makes up for it.

I usually drive to Redbridge and then get the underground. Though on a Sunday at the tower of London car park it's 2.50 for the whole day and you just miss the charges too bonus .
